Hi, I take 60mg of amitriptyline for fibromyalgia and Sulfasalazine for psoriatic arthritis. The amitriptyline has definitely helped with headaches and pins and needles. I still get a lot of pain in my coccyx and I struggle to sit as I end up in agony so I have to lie or sit in an awkward angle as I can’t put pressure on it at all. I have bought a coccyx pillow also but it doesn’t seem to help either. Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone have any ideas that’s could help this? Thanks

Hi

Saw an old post regarding coccyx issues, one of their suggestions was a blow up exercise ball for sitting on?

I get a lot of lower back pain, occasionally affecting coccyx so appreciate the difficulty in getting comfortable. The only med that helps my back pain is tramadol.

I find that heat, Capsaicin cream and aromatherapy muscle rubs all help to ease pain in the short term

Thank you. I take co-codamol and I use deep heat and cbd cream. Unfortunately I can’t use any of them on my coccyx 🤣.

I found that rubbing nurefen around the coccyx area helped 😊
