Oh yes, I can sometimes sleep 10 to 12 hours!!! But mostly 6 to 8 depending on what I have been doing or what stresses are around. I still get nights where it music, reading or telly but no nearly so much.

It's still quite novel not to be pacing the floor all night 😃

for me duloxetine (supposed to be the drug for fibro) helped my mood but little else and because I thought it might be causing weight gain I withdrew after several years use, the withdrawal effects were the worst I've had and I've gone through many. I'm on sertraline to try reducing high stress levels and x4 amitriptyline for TMJ and loads of other stuff.

I've got a heart scan booked as it looks like years of stress has damaged it, so far with the monitor implanted in my chest they have picked up very fast afib, which means my heart goes into periods of beating between 40 bpm & 240 bpm.

I don't think it matters what you take for sleep, as with pain your body does whatever it wants to do despite any type or amount of meds you take.

My sleep is pretty much under control now as I've learned that opiates were/are keeping me awake all night (last night), its the waking up I cannot stand, every morning for over ten years I wake up from horrible intense/vivid dreams and without opioids giving me a kickstart in the morning, I'd just lay here like a zombie.

I've just started using a zen spray on my pillows at night, it really does seem to put me in a deep sleep even tho it's several hours later and does nothing for the dreams, trazadone is really good for getting you off to sleep, I don't take it anymore as I felt really rough in the day.

Take Care

Hello !

Im considering duloxetine for pain. Its supposed to either make you lose weight, or gain weight, or lose, then gain a little much later on.

Have you noticed any difference in weight ?

Do you have any side effects?

My dr wants me on 30mgs for a week, then 60mgs.here in the U.S.

Thanks so.much! I wish you great success with this med
