Why has my GP prescribed amitriptyline for me?
I'm a 66-year-old male, sick of needing to go to the loo two or more times during the night because it deprives me of deep sleep, and sometimes it takes an hour or so before I can get back to sleep! Up until about 18 months ago the urge to wee came with painful tension in the groin, and after peeing

Night sweats?
Hi ladies, I seem to be posting constantly on here recently so sorry for another one! Does anyone else suffer with night sweats? It's not every night but 4 or 5 times over the last few weeks i've woken up sweaty and clammy to the point my pyjamas are clinging to me where they're damp. I'm having a flare

Help for my pain please
Hi guys and gals I hope you are a safe and well (as you can be) I am looking for some advise on pain medication at present I take co-codamol 30/500 and Amitriptyline at night. For the most part this is not helping much. I’ve tried Tramadol before but I thought I’d been given a placebo as it didn’t

Habituation Woes
I'm really trying hard to habituate, but it's so hard. Like it's too inconsistent to get used to. One minute I either don't notice it or it's gone, next it's whistling. Doesn't help when it randomly has a loud burst, I came down the stairs earlier and it went real loud for a second before settling down

Hi, I’ve just joined this forum as I’m coming to terms with the belief that I have RLS. I’m a 54 year old male living in the South East of the UK and over the last couple of months have had the sensation to sit down with my legs on the ball of my feet, and bounce them up and down rapidly. It’s worst

Recovering from B12
Yesterday had MRI brain scan, as shock like headaches comes in sometimes, but MRI was normal. Neuro told that it may be a nerve pain from neck to head, given amitriptyline for easing the pain. Still facing some fatigue, tiredness, sometimes tingling in legs, also having sleep disturbance (no proper sleep
