IBS Loose bowels
I have had IBS for many years but now I am finding I cannot control my bowels and have awful accidents. It is preventing me from socialising or going shopping as I am not aware of when it will happen. I take Mebeverine and Loperamide daily but it isn't helping much. Any advice would be appreciated

Dipyridamole update.
I recently had to stop taking Dipyridamole prior to surgery. Day one wasn’t an issue, I slept great. Day two was a huge reminder of how bad RLas can be. Day three I am just vibrating. Now it could be the stress from the surgery but my RLS is through the roof and it is only 8:30 am. I can sleep

benralizumab (fasedra)
I am keen to hear of experiences with benralizumab including side-effects and the length of time it’s remained effective (or whether it stopped working after a while). Also whether it has enabled people to come off oral steroids and bronchodilators. I was diagnosed with severe eosinophilic asthma,

Sprained my ankle
I've just got back to a stage where I am running weekly 5K and starting to enjoy it again. Yesterday I was going to do a couple of miles up a road which turns into a concreted farm track. The concrete has collapsed at one point and I normally run over this carefully. Not so yesterday - I was looking

multimodal spinal manipulation for long-term recovery of fibromyalgia
A very interesting case report recently published that shows how a proper chiropractor treatment could provide a long-term recovery from fibromyalgia 🙂 https://finance.yahoo.com/news/scientists-identify-hidden-factor-help-120700088.html https://www.dovepress.com/cervical-spondylosis-as-a-hidden-contributing-factor-to-fibromyalgia-a-peer-reviewed-fulltext-article-IMCRJ

IBS after eating evening meal
I have been a coeliac for many years, when I was diagnosed I thought my diarrhoea would cease. I also have trouble with an over active bladder. My diarrhoea seems to arrive about 4 hours after my evening meal. It can happen up to 4 times a week then perhaps nothing the next week. I get very painful cramps

I'm new here.
Thank you for letting me join. The GP thinks I may have IBS-D. I was diagnosed with Coeliac many years ago but my tummy has never settled. It seems so sensitive and so unreliable. I am very careful not to consume any gluten, lactose or yeast. I read all the labels too. But I still have this diarrhoea

Dad not waking from sedatives
Hi everyone. My dad came off his pushbike 12 days ago (28th of October) and suffered a traumatic brain injury. They said he wouldn’t make it due to the pressure unless they operated and remove the left part of his skull. They did that the same evening and they said it went as well it could have gone.

Gastric Enteritis Nightmare
hi It’s been a while since I’ve posted , but I hope someone can help. About 4 weeks ago on a holiday in Greece I became really sick with what was diagnosed as Gastric Enteritis. Vomiting, terrible stomach pain , diarrhoea, the works. I felt so weak I could hardly walk. It was a weeks holiday and I

SCT update
Hello friends, I have been out of hospital for a few weeks now and am just starting to feel stronger. Today is day +65.Blood counts are slowly improving but I daren't take anything for granted. The main issue now is that I have developed skin GVHD; the itching is horrendous though Dermovate cream helps

Agony of Reducing Ropinerole
I have been weaning off Ropinerole for a while now. I am down from 4mg per day to .5 mg per day. However I when I try to come off or even try .25 mg, my legs always start up. My neurologist reckons my RLS is secondary due to a spinal tumour I have. When I get an attack, my left leg feels it has

Pace lesson learned
There has been a lot about pace and distance in the chat recently here’s my story… I graduated 3 months ago and have done 3 Parkruns so far (what a great organisation!) I was determined to go faster on my second PR. Big mistake! Took me about 20 minutes to realise I was struggling, my breath wasn’t

My body shutting down
I just feel sleepy everyday and every time. Even if sleep the whole day and whole night I will still feel sleepy. Apart from that, I feel tired, I feel like my body is getting paralysed, Lightheadedness, body vibrating and an urge to cry. Let me not forget the antsy, irritation and suddenly don't like

hi all, hope everyone is good. It’s been nearly nine months now since ablation. Overall I’ve been good but I still get a lot of HHR, usually linked with stress which for me is a constant battle but I’m trying my best to deal with it. Had a bad day yesterday with HHR and chest pains also had a lot of
