I’m new here - taking Thyroid Support Supplement istead of NDT
I am a 52 year old male who has been Type 1 Diabetic for 27 years. After several months of visiting different Endocrinologists I finally found an Endocrinologist who ordered a more complete set of thyroid tests for me. The results from the tests done on 20 April 2017 were as follows: TSH

Low B12
Hello. I've been sent for a few blood tests and my iron and zinc are low (however I've always suffered with my iron). But my main concern was my B12 results,it came back as 150. Doctor said I may have to go on injections for my life. I'm just worried cause I've read a lot of things what can happen to

Any advise please
Hi everyone, just lately I've been feeling really tired, headaches everyday, sore eyes and just generally feeling under the weather just no get up and go. My last hospital appointment the Consultant wanted me to drop my meds to 150mg Levothyroxine instead of me self medicating myself with 175mg and 150mg

Why has Levo stopped working?
This is my first post. I am 59. After many years of undiagnosed Thyroid related illness, I was finally diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2015. My father had the same late diagnosis. He died just five years older than I am now, aged 64 of a massive Stroke. At the end he was morbidly obese, with very high

Recent neck pain with a rather... personal cause.
As any young man does I masturbate every now and then, lately though it has started to cause sharp, and sometimes intense pain, over the past few days, as always looking around on the internet brings nothing but doom saying such as clots and cancer. The thing that makes me doubt that is the specific

RA first focused blood tests
Hi all, I have just posted an intro as I'm concerned I have RA. I have some blood tests booked on Wednesday this week to see if they show RA specifically. I don't know if they're just a general blood panel or if they include antibodies testing. I didn't get chance to talk this through as I was already

Optimizing T3 and exercise
Not sure my question makes much sense but I am struggling to get optimal results, feel well and live the active life that gives me a sense of purpose. I'm working on adding T3 to my previously T4 only regime. I have been successful in raising D3 and B12, have good selenium and magnesium and am taking

Thyroid iodine and essential co factors
Just getting iodine is not sufficient you need the cofactors that make it work. In addition as was pointed out earlier fluoride, chlorine and other halides can interfere with the uptake of iodine. So best to start drinking water which filters out these and other toxic substances. below is Dr Dean's estimate

When to take Iron Supplements
I just bought a bottle of iron supplements since ferritin levels are low. I know iron reduces the absorption of levothyroxine, does it also interact with T3? Or any supplements in particular? Also, if anyone can help, I'm trying to figure out how to space out my supplements in the day, suggestions are

Opinions on whether vitamins help Tinnitus
Hi all, This is my first post and I thought it was worth a bash-to see how other people cope with T. I developed it 3 years ago and went to my doctors who said basically I won't go away and I was stuck with it. At first I was very upset as it was extremely annoying however I have now got used to it

Never lose hope!
EC today and after days of worrying it was absolutely fine. I think I was awake (not too sure, felt like the drugs were amnesic) but felt no pain during the procedure at all. Got 4 eggs after having 2 large follicles and 2 which we hoped would catch up and clearly they did. A few smaller ones but we
