Best supplement for pregnancy
Hi all just wanted others opinions on which of the supplements I've found would be the better ones too take. I've recently suffered an early loss in pregnancy so I'm not pregnant yet but want too get my levels up for when we do try again. I have pcos and very reduced fertility have appointment with gynaecologist

Felt brilliant in both pregnancies so looking for clues...
A little off topice but hoping you'll be able to help... I've been pregnant twice, with two healthy children as the outcome. Physically, pregnancy is not kind to me: I had symphis pubis dysfunction twice (less awful in the second pregnancy as about three stone lighter) and gestational diabetes twice

Hair loss
So my hair is coming out at a somewhat more noticeable rate than before and at times I wouldn't expect to see it. I know I'm not optimally medicated but my current fT3 level is 4.0 (3.5-5.5) vs 3.8 about five weeks ago and the hair loss is much worse than then. I'm pretty sure my ferritin is at a healthy

Fit Bit
Since I started taking the magnesium marine tablets I have been sleeping so much better, I now have a fit bit that you were as a watch and when you go to bed you tell it you are going to sleep, when you wake up you tell it you are awake and it tells you how long you have slept for and how restless it

Are zinc supplements causing constipation?
As I was reminded by a recent trip to the GP recently, just because something is known to be a symptom of hypothyroidism doesn't mean that it is... I started taking a fairly low dose zinc supplement (10 mg / day) a couple of weeks ago as so many members here had recommended it to support thyroid function

Patches of dry skin on face
During the last few months I've developed dry skin on my face. There is a particularly resistant patch near my mouth that doesn't seem to be responding to my usual creams or to coconut oil which I've used as a last resort. Does anyone have any ideas please? I'm taking T3, B12, B Complex, Krill Oil, iron

Seafood: Keeping It Healthy & Safe
From our blog at cookforyourlife.org, written by Alexandra Rothwell, MPH, RD, CSO, CDN During the spring and summer months, if we’re not indulging in lobster rolls or moules frites, many of us feel more naturally inclined to eat lighter fresh foods from seasonal produce and seafood. Shellfish, such

Health Benefits Of Pistachios [Pista]
Pistachios [Pista] appear strange and delicious, and available almost in every store. Pistachio is the healthiest snack ever, which boost metabolism, lowers cholesterol and slows down ageing. They deserve a special place in our diet because of the benefits that we will gain if we consume pistachios

Magnesium marine
I have been taking magnesium marine tablets and up to last week I did not notice anything, but last week I felt like I had so much more energy and was sleeping better, I have got a fitbit now which I wear like a watch and it monitors how many steps I do in a day, calories burnt and my sleep pattern,

Vitamins & minerals
after my TSh was 0.01, I actually did begin to rattle a few days later.. I've dropped from 4 grains to 3.. Now taking selenium, magnesium, kelp for iodine, zinc, vitamin c, & iron.. & boy within a few days I feel so much better... I underestimated these & believed NDT on its own would get me where I

When to take zinc, selenium supplements
I take my thyroid meds in the morning when I wake up, along with my antidepressants, my vitamin B complex tablet and my pill. I take my vitamin B12 and vitamin D with my breakfast, a couple of hours after I get up. I take my ferrous fumarate supplement before going to bed, along with 1000mg vitamin C

I've been getting this weird sensation in my neck, along with the feeling of a lump in my throat it feels like the right side of my neck is swollen but it isn't when I look at it, I can also see what looks like a pulse bumping about an inch below the right ear. Should I see a doctor asap about this or
