Happy days!
Hi everyone, Haven’t been on here for the last few months, I hope everyone is well and having a lovey summer. I had to share with people who understand how far I have come. I’ve been on benepali for nearly a year now and it has absolutely changed my life. I’ve changed my diet too, so no more bloating

No meds anyone?
Are there any of us who have completely given up with trying to find a medication that will get rid of this awful affliction? If so how do you cope with the tiredness. I am feeling so alone at the moment. GP’s really don’t want to prescribe anything new for me. I have had Pramipexole, and suffered augmentation

Help! Possible Pudendal Neuralgia/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

So since my last post two years ago some stuff has changed! I’ve had another lap which showed the endo has spread and more adhesions sticking my rectum and vagina together. I’m now under care at an endo specalist centre in London after paying privately to see Prof. Rymer once and then being referred.

New to Tinnitus
Hi Everyone, I'm New to T. I have recently been diagnosed by my GP with it. It first started 5 weeks ago when I was put on Tramadol for pain relief for my back, Tramadol made me anxious and feel terrible and that's when T started. Constant high pitch ringing I think is in my head not ears? I had wax

Decapeptyl induced menopause
Hi So I’ve had the menopause induced about a month ago, it lasts three months. Is there a chance it could wear off before three months? I’m worried mine might be, I’ve very weird when it comes to medicine. Morphine tramadol sleeping tablets don’t work on me. Any know if it’s possible? And what should

Fluoxetine and Tramadol
My gp has prescribed me both of these to help deal with my Fibro pain but I keep repeatedly reading online and in the leaflets with the drugs that you shouldn't take them together. I feel like my GP has missed something? Anyone else taken the two together? I'm on 20mg Fluox and try to stick to just one

New here - just diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia
Hi I have been reading this site for such a long time and today, whilst I relax on a sunbed in Greece, I read something that made me post. I feel like I have lived with pain for such a long time. I have so much anger inside me! 10 years ago my periods became extremely painful. For 8 years, after countless

Platelet levels above normal range despite treatment on Hydrea
I am 12 year ET Jak2. I take Asprin and 500 Hydrea daily. I also take Gabapentin, Tramadol for Chronic pain that started around the time ET started. My question is I am yet to have a platelet count in the normal range of (150 to 450) Australia, despite taking Hydrea for near on 2 years. Is this normal

Levodopa/carbidopa
Hi everyone! Has anyone used the above PRN (as needed)? After going through augmentation I have been pretty good at management of my RLS by just using tramadol when I first feel it coming on. Mostly. But sometimes it isn't enough, like last night. I took 1/2 a Levodopa/carbidopa and it knocked me out

Severe pain
I recently finished a steroid taper which my doctor provided me with because of severe pain. I finished it about a week ago and the pain immediately returned. Both knees swollen like softballs and strangely enough my right calf muscle is extremely sore and inflamed. It’s swollen all the way into my ankle

I wonder if alternating would work
I took Pramipexole (mirapex) for quite a while at the lowest dose, then it stopped working. I then went on to Tramadol, and it is now nowhere near as effective as it once was, so presumably I am augmenting on this drug as well. Yoga sometimes helps, but not always. Has anyone tried alternating their

I have taken all sorts of medication in the past as well as the patches and the only thing I have found works at all is Tramadol and I take four of these each night one hour apart. Medication
Do any of you feel that all the medication the doctors give you for fibromyalgia works ? I know we’re all different and take different combinations. I began on 10 mg of Amitriptyline I’m now on 50 mg as well as 900 mg of gabapentine , 100 mg of sertraline (for my mood apparently) as well as tramadol

I'm a newbie here, glad to find you!
I apparently was born with lymphedema and going through menopause triggered it. I also have osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis. I was always the "go to" lady, at work and at home. So it has been quite difficult emotionally and mentally to deal with 3 problems that limit my ability to perform. Cannot

Tramadol efficiency
Hello I augmented on Ropinirole 2 years ago and used Tramadol to help the withdrawal symptons. Once over the withdrawal my legs were so much better (I hadn't realised how awful they had become while on Ropinirole). At the same time I increased my ferritin levels to over 100 (currently 128). I took 50mg

Has anyone tried Duloxetine?
Newly diagnosed with Fibro after being in pain since 2006. Amitriptyline doesn't work for me and I couldn't deal with the side effects either. Tramadol does take the edge off and it gives me energy but I'm worried about getting addicted to this so don't really want to be on it long term x
