Training Decisions and Knee Niggles
.🐣 - Continue doing
Yoga
, specific running exercises and/or knee Pilates 🧘🏻♀️ My thinking is that even though I have run now since April 2020, for my tendons, muscles, ligaments and bones around my knees, this is still early days.

Back to 5k - Hooray!
I have managed Adriene's wonderful Breath
yoga
, but the running has been on the slide which opened the door to pesky gremlins and that way danger lies.....😱. The problem was, the longer the gap between runs the more the pesky gremlins began to mutter and I began to question if I could make 5k.

Anyone else fancy jumping on board the Yoga with Adriene train? 🧘♀️ 🙏🏻
Adriene is a wonderful
yoga
instructor and her YouTube classes are accessible to all, whether you’re a rank beginner like I was when I first started practising with her nearly 3 years ago, or whether you’re already a seasoned yogi.

BREATH 2021 Day 25 - 30: Let us know how it’s going
I don’t seem to need the roller as much as before, as
Yoga
seems to give me a good flexibility workout. My knees now seem to be able to take a bit more pressure and I can kneel for short periods on the mat, for short moments even without blankets. So what has improved in your practice?

Keeping up appearances
I am part of a group that runs FREE exercise &
yoga
zoom sessions for any that have ended up in ICU( we self fund everything) - our members have a wide range of conditions but all want to ‘reclaim the dark’. We are UK based but zoom opens up the world - the only challenge is time difference.

The only way to become established in yourself is through the practise of
yoga
, through enhancing your awareness and meditation. An egoless state is a state where you are emotionally indifferent, where praise doesn’t excite joy and criticism doesn’t hurt you.

Surely not... ?
I used to struggle with too much energy, too many thoughts and that’s why I ran, did
yoga
... just had to try to exhaust myself; I was pretty ADD, prone to periods of hyper concentration sometimes and having the attention span of a gnat at others; I was like it since childhood and took a battering for

Tips for surviving fatigue when tapering - now on 6mg and going down
Exercise (
yoga
) helps (I am an x dancer) but still recovering from bilateral tendinopathy so long walks are still out. Any help, no matter how small is gratefully received especially for fatigue, memory and mental focus. Thank you so much.

Snowhere left to run
I’m wondering if all the extra
yoga
and strengthening exercises will have been enough to prevent further knee problems.... and if my energy levels will hold up as I try again to extend my mileage?

Navigating endometriosis naturally
And I have done a somatic
yoga
training about releasing trauma through movement which has helped me navigate pain management in my own way with my own body and has taught me psoas releases that help with these kind of issues.

Another lunchtime 5k run
Ohh, that bounce, where my steps suddenly become jaunty, my posture more upright, my breath more rhythmic and my hands and arms do that conductor thing, their own kind of
yoga
,- just because. That’s my bounce that I love. And the amount of bounce changes, so I wonder, where is my bounce meter?

Pregnancy and montelukast
I really don't think it's due to being unfit as I cycle a lot, walk a lot, and do
yoga
from time to time. And i had this from time to time when not pregnant. Should I fight to start taking montelukast again? Does anyone else get this wiped out feeling and think it's asthma?

Jericho's weekly round up week 1
Hopefully the issue is sorting itself out 🤞🏻 Other workouts I've been lax I admit, no
yoga
or strength work as yet but will hopefully get a resistance band session in today and maybe a Joe Wicks p.e class with the youngest!

IT Band knee pain for months - help!
So far I've tried periods of rest, stretching,
yoga
and a bit of massage and changing my gait, but it just won't improve enough for me to run regularly. Any advice?

Possible EDS or hyper Mobility
My old
yoga
instructor said I hyperextend my knees but I’m not sure if it’s 10%. I’ve got a call with pain management next week and wanted to discuss the possibility of EDS or hyper mobility with them. Does anyone have any guidance on how to go about this?
