W2: IC - sore shins, shin splints?? 😩😩
Amongst all that, I’ve continued with my strength training very carefully once a week, ensuring no impact on shins and have even tried
yoga
(actually ok!) I’ve been out for walks every day, no more than 4km to get my fresh air fix but it’s not quite the same.

Focusing on my spirituality...
I will get back into meditating and be more consistent in my

practice-speaking it into existence! If anyone has a tidbit or mantra that could help me on this journey, let me know please! :)

Muddy, murky Monday morning
Adriene's Breath
yoga
will round off my day, and no doubt Isla will join me in that too - she does THE best down dog pose 🥰🐶🐾.

7dp5dt thoughts..
I’ve kept myself busy with reading (got through three books in a week), gentle
yoga
, Netflix and slow gentle walks! Back at work now but not really focused on it - my mind keeps wondering.

Freezing Frosty Friday 🥶❄️
Instead I had two sessions of Adriene's Breath
yoga
to do, one as a catch up, so that gave some relief to my suffering glutes 😉. I tend to procrastinate on cold mornings, trying to get my layers of clothing right.

I'm not having a good New Year so far
I like to do
yoga
in the afternoons, but with all this clothing on it's not going to be comfortable.
Yoga
is one of the few things I look forward to in this place. A great start to the New Year.

Low impact weight workout
Recently, I’ve been starting my days doing
yoga
with Adriene’s 30 day ‘Breath’ routine, then going for a walk/doing some cardio later in the day. It’s been going fairly well, there’s some poses that I have to bodge a bit, but I think it’s doing me good.

Eastern Philosophy Is the Cradle for Western psychology! ❤️☀️☮️☯️🌸🧘🏻♀️🌈🙏
Through the counterculture of the beatniks in 1960’s, Asian practices are becoming increasingly prevalent such as: acupuncture, holistic medicine, Tai Chi
yoga
, and meditation are just a few of the Eastern practices gaining popularity in Western culture.

Yoga for AMM
Since being diagnosing AMN two years ago I have been wishing I started
yoga
10 years before diagnosis. I didn’t have anything to back up my thinking it just seems like if I had been doing it regularly I might still have better mobility and an overall quality of life.
