I did it!
Having not run since school, and being told not to do any high impact exercise after an operation on my knee I had an encounter with a
yoga
teacher who said he had done c25k with arthritis in his knee. I suddenly thought why not me?

Exploring the fascial matrix - your connective tissue
At a more recent yin
yoga
training, there was a lady with EDS, who shared bits of her experience. How certain
yoga
poses would risk over-stretch for her. And in one of our breath explorations done standing, found at times even standing to be fatiguing.

Vagus Nerve Stimulation for PD
Being present centers you. 8)
Yoga
Yoga
is a parasympathetic activation exercise that helps with digestion, blood flow and more. 9) ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) ASMR sends “tingles” from your scalp down your spine and helps calm your nervous system with the use of triggers or tools

INDOOR ROWING: RowAlong 30 Days of 30 Minute Rowing Workouts
It sometimes gets a bit worse after a foot-intensive
Yoga
session and after a few easy restful days it gets better. As they say, ligaments and bones heal slowly and one has to be patient! My hubby promised me that at least healed bones will be stronger than before.

Tales from a Slow-Jog Comeback #3: Glorious Runny Sunday (Zombie) Morning
I am now thinking of running only twice/week, rowing 5/week, and
yoga
daily as usual if possible or replace with the usual stretches and sprinkled in some targeted knee and back workouts! But I could really do with that time machine to help with fitting it all in! Happy Running everyone!

Walked one mile today and tomorrow will do some
yoga
. I don't plan to go back to the gym for at least one more week and will use lighter weights for a while. I am a firm believer in letting your body kind of tell you what to do.

How do you know when you are ready to come off steroids completely?
Diagnosed in September 2020, originally on 15 mg, thankfully and steadily reduced to 3 mg, reducing at 1mg per 6 weeks, still stiff in shoulders, buttocks and hips, put on a ridiculous 2 stone since diagnosed just want my life back to normal, now 57 slowly doing more
yoga
and tai chi which I love, but

2nd Workout Advent : CBDB’s Weekly Countdown to Xmas
We threw out a kiddie billiard table, that our teenage son didn’t use anymore, and this workout corner now features space to roll out two
yoga
mats for hubby and my daily
yoga
practice and enough space for teenage son to practice his martial arts moves.

Integrating a holistic approach to kidney health
What happens when 3 women in London, a renal physio, renal dietician and
yoga
teacher/nutritional therapist (that's me!) chat. All of us, working with kidneys in different contexts, coming together in honest dialogue.

Post Panic Attack
Imagine how I would be if I added
yoga
and exercise to my regimen? Anyway. I just wanted to share my thoughts post panic attack. I hope you’re all having a good day. And to my fellow people in the northern hemisphere: Tomorrow is the darkest day of the year.

I’m hoping this clears up quickly on its own and I’m going to dive very deep into working on stress and de-stressing
yoga
and meditation.. those are two things I have not done enough on.. I’ll check back in if I get good results.
