It is a great motivational challenge for the first month of the year. You don't have to run each day, unlike some other challenges. You simply move, actively, every day in January. Walk, run, cycle, treadmill, swim, yoga etc etc. Intended to keep bodies and mind happy and fit and to raise money for MIND.
I have done it before and am doing it this year, as in these current times, the impact that Covid has had on people has been enormous.
I was fortunate enough to benefit from support in January this year, and appreciated so much the facility to have someone there for me to talk to and strategies offered which helped me to move forward. So I am doing it this year, to help funds in a small way and to keep me motivated mentally and physically too
The Yoga challenge will be helpful too... and I have a fantastic book that Mr. OF bought me as a gift. Think Like a Tree... and it has a book with it, with all manner of activities and links, ( mostly outdoor) that will tie in wonderfully with the Red January challenge
Besides that, it is fun

Thank you! I hadn’t been aware or I’d already forgotten from last year! And as it’s rather MED (move every day) than RED (run every day), I can participate with my yoga and rowing!
