today i fell down, carrying my computer and water bottle to another room for a zoom (adapted) yoga class. how do you keep your attitude positive? I am determined to get stronger but falling sucks.

by the way, does everyone know about these free adaptive exercise online classes?

I'm so glad people are finding out about the Sabrina Cohen Foundation. I think it's in Florida. i have taken a few of their zoom classes and like it very much although some of it is really challenging!

i didn't know about the classes, so thank you! i hate falling. i once fell and broke a laptop. i hope yours is ok, but more importantly that you're ok. i think it just comes with the territory and try not to get too down on myself.🤗

hi BlanketTime1 i'm ok and so is my laptop. wounded pride. I was very weak for the rest of the night. woke up better today. Falling has not been in my repertoire of the usual events. do i have to get used to it?

i'm sorry, i don't know if you'll fall. i WISH i had a crystal ball. i will say, you learn the signs, like i know to be extra careful whenever i turn. it used to be only when turning right, was that way for years, but recently i've fallen when turning left. i also know to be mindful of my steps. i only have so many. i used to try to force myself to keep moving, but at some point (after the searing pain and heaviness), my legs just quit... and i fall. because i know this, i can watch out for it. i hope you're not too bruised, both physically and emotionally.🤗

Sorry your body failed you! It stinks. I try to stay positive by laughing about it. Or making jokes about how it could have been worse. And sometimes I can’t. I just get upset and cry for a minute. But eventually I try to look on the bright side.

yes, thank goodness there is a bright side. i have a lot to be grateful for.

Glad to hear you still keep your determination even when you have a fall. 😇

No I don't know about the class, but I will now that I have the link!!!... as far as falling, I know all about that.. maybe, carrying all that stuff might have just been too much for your leg.. have you been having issues with falling lately? Don't be embarrassed, it happens to the best of us.. are you ok? That is the most important part.. as long as you are ok..

Best of luck.. keep on truckin!!!!

Thanks MsBoo im ok. I didn’t lift my foot and tripped over a wire. Wasn’t paying attention. No injuries next time I’ll be careful where I’m going or make 2 trips

Sorry about your fall.

If I don't break bones after I fall. my attitude improves.

With you falling a follow up to your earlier post about the wheel chair comment. Contact the person you had the conflict with. I maybe that person you had issues with and I'd like to know!

I am sorry you fell. I hope you didn't hurt yourself.

I periodically take MS Workouts seated yoga classes (they have seated and standing yoga classes which are included in the subscription) -

msworkouts.com/

They post new classes every week.

thanks, i'll check it out if you recommend it.

Definitely. They have a sale periodically. I have been using that site for a long time. All of their exercises are for MS. They post videos for seating and standing classes, in addition to yoga, once a week. They have personal sessions and personal trainer's recommendations. They have live QandA on Facebook I think once in 2 weeks.

How is it working for you?

It truly motivates me to work out. I am unable to do some exercises due to my footdrop, but all of them are for MS. And they are customizable. I tried MS Gym before, but didn't make it past the trial period. They have a free trial period here too, and I think I am paying $50 every 3 months.

sounds good. currently i am doing the Dr. Gretchen Hawley thing. very expensive $117/month.
