extreme fatigue making me ill
I have recently used calorie counting to lose 3 stone thinking the
weight
loss
and diet change would help but it hasn’t! Financially I need to work, but health wise I need to rest.

Not losing weight although following a diet and exercise
During the last few months I started to gain weight while I was not really following my usual eating habits, later on, when I tried to follow that diet again, along with my usual exercises, I don’t see any
weight
loss
at all, only difference is that I range from 77 to 78KG depending on when I’m stepping

My consultant saw me 6 months ago and she never mentioned such a drastic
weight
loss
then (i am assuming because i had my mum with me and she works for the CCG). Has anyone else experienced this before?

Hypothyroidism and weight gain/loss. This article may be of interest to some.
https://sanescohealth.com/blog/thyroid-and-leptin-weight/I found another article mentioning Leptin therapy on a subclinical hypothyroid patient. The patient was able to stop her Levothyroxine once her Leptin levels were under control.

Continuing weight loss
I have COPD and Cor Pulmonale. When I was diagnosed 12 years ago I was told to expect to lose weight but since my last exacerbation (beginning of May 2022, outcome was me on 16 hours of oxygen a day) I seem to be losing weight every week. Is this usual? or should I be consulting my GP to look for further

Weight loss
Hi everybody- hope you’ve all had a good weekend. We had the appointment with my brothers oncologist- he’s a lovely man. We have a lot of drugs to combat the cough - mainly steroids & a codeine linctus. Fingers crossed it works. Unfortunately his cancer is showing extensive spread to his right lung but

Weight loss vs diabetes
In a bit of a quandary ... I have to watch carbs & sugar to avoid pred-induced diabetes. At the same time, I'm also worried about losing too much weight. I've lost about 40 lbs. recently, and am not totally sure it's all due to diet. Is there a good way to add a few pounds without upping my carbs

Here we go.......
I intend to keep this workout and watch portions and calories (cutting sugar and carbs) to combat
weight
gain, bone density and muscle
loss
. Having the SpaceOAR and fiducials placed on Thursday, simulation workup following week and likely start SBRT after Thanksgiving.

Confused about latest blood tests - why are FT4 and FT3 rising, but I still feel awful and I'm undiagnosed and not on any meds?
Symptoms are mainly fatigue/tiredness, unexplained
weight
gain, exercise intolerance, decreased hair density,
loss
of outer third of eyebrow hair, sensitivity to cold, low mood, low libido, high cholesterol.

I am coming close to the end of my cardiac rehab and am feeling fabulous, but I want to concentrate on
weight

now and want to have the ability to have a protein shake as a quick breakfast when I train.

The Double Vision Issue with GCA
Then, in AUG 2022 I started getting bad headaches, jaw weakness,
loss
of
weight
, etc. I had the temporal artery biopsy done and it was positive. I was placed on 60 MG PRED immediately. I think I was on 60 MG for a month before decreasing to 55 MG for another month, etc.
