Endometriosis and weight loss?
Although not officially diagnosed until last year, I am wondering if that has been a reason for at least some of the
weight
loss
? I haven't been on the anti-inflammatory
diet
for that long so so it cant be that. Just wondering if it's related somehow?

Feel like giving up
Hi guys, it's been a little over a month that I started a low carb
diet
but no significant
weight
loss
up to now. I have cheated several times by eating pastries or fries but on the whole I have maintained the low carb diet.

Does eating foods that have good amounts of oleic acid lower the molarity of VLCFAS in our blood and our body?
I eat avocados almost every day and We know that avocados have good amounts of oleic acid. I also eat a low-fat diet. I found this online and tell me what you think?: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/ana.410210304 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3951702

Can type 2 diabetes be reversed?
I’m a 64 yo man who is at least 60 pounds overweight. I’m planning to walk on treadmill daily and get more sunlight. I have AFib as well as type 2 diabetes which complicates things. I’m on low carb diet. Looking for other recommendations for losing weight. I have resistance bands but have not used them

Wrongly diagnosed with celiac?
Has anyone ever been wrongly diagnosed with celiac? I initially went to the doctors because I would feel sick when eating foods sometimes so I had blood tests, stool sample and an endoscopy. The results came back the I had celiac disease but I didn’t get the results until a year later, which I found

2 year old been recommended a gluten free diet
My 2yr 6 month year old has been having problems for a year now. Bloating being the biggie, one minute he has a flat tummy and the next he looks pregnant. He tells me it hurts. He’s ready for potty training but I’m too scared to try because he’s having about 3 loose (not diarrhoea) stools a day. They

Is NAFLD really reversible and do I have a change
Hi 👋 I am a mother of 7 amazing children and I recently was diagnosed with NAFLD inflammation and Nash stage 2 and she said 90% damage, so yes I’m super scared to die, I’ve cried non stop since 2/4/2020 when she read my biopsy to me I wish I would have found out sooner. Almost immediately I changed

Coeliac absorption
I have had coeliac disease for many years and adhere to a strict (but probably not 100%) gluten free diet. My villi are still not in a ‘perfect’ operating condition, so their absorption is impaired. I’m very interested in whether anyone has any experience of probable impaired steroid absorption as

Confused about ratios and portion sizes
I have been trying LCHF for 3 weeks now, but I am still confused about ratios of carbs, protein and fat and how many g I should be having. Should I be calorie counting? How do I know if I'm doing it right? I have bought a book with lots of recipes, but can I ave any lunch with any dinner or do I have

Cauliflower £3 each?!
Local greengrocer didn't have any cauliflower, but just as I was leaving his colleague walked in with a box. The price? £3! Apparently the price at market jumped up to £15/box. Lemons have similarly gone from £16 to £25 a box wholesale. I wonder if low-carb panic buyers have created this demand? I imagine

90 second keto bread 👍 👍 👍
I've been jonesing for bread and butter for a while. I went low carb early December, and have only had bread once since, on Christmas day. I have been having lucid dreams about eating slice after slice thickly buttered white bloomer doorsteps. The dreams have been nearly erotic. Previously I had pooh-poohed

Tiromel not helping
Hi, I am from the US and I know this is a UK forum, but there seems to be some really good information on here. I’ve been trying to get to the bottom of some health issues that have been plaguing me for the last year. I went on a very strict low carb diet for about a year and a half and felt amazing

Weight gain due to being over medicated?
Is it possible to gain weight when over medicated? I have been hypo since my TT, and I haven’t gained any weight even when my TSH was 27, but as soon as I became “normal” and my TSH came down to 0.17 I started gaining weight and after being suppressed for 4 months I gained 10kg, even though I haven’t

Well something to cheer me up, today I reached my target of 10st. I was 10st. 10 just before Christmas and back then I couldn't believe i would manage it. But thanks to LCHF and the support of you folks, I've done it. My BMI is 24.7. However, after looking in the mirror, I've decided to keep going
