Psoriatic arthritis
Hi everyone. So, after a year and a half of worsening joint pain and numerous tests, a rheumatologist has diagnosed me with early psoriatic arthritis and prescribed methotrexate. My concern is that nothing whatsoever has ever shown up on any tests. ESR and CRP are low (lower than normal actually).

For the past maybe 2/3 months I’ve now noticed more uncomfortableness in my left hand , the knuckle at base of little finger and wedding finger hurt to bend after

advice on sulfasalazine and the sun
I have been told by my rheumatologist nurse that I need to start taking sulfasalazine for my reactive arthritis, as I had a steroid injection after taking steroids orally, but it’s still not keeping the joint stiffness at bay completely . I’m not happy as I was under the impression that reactive arthritis

PMR & Osteoarthritis in Knees
I have been added to the waiting list for knee replacement. I am trying to loose weight which I feel will help the pain in my knees. They can be very stiff some days and difficult to bend and I do get pain in the back of my thighs and shin splint pain too. I wonder if this is part of PMR ? I would hate

Tocilizumab
I have had a BCC removed from the side of my nose. One of my rheumatology nurses told me that there is an incidence of Tocilizumab causing cancerous growths. It did pop up out of nowhere and I was shocked when the dermatologist told me that it was a slow growing cancer. Has anyone heard of this link?

How can they really know?
I'm a bit perplexed as to how they can really tell the difference between OA and RA.I have heard of so many people that are told they have RA, to later be told it's OA. My arthritis symptoms have changed somewhat and are affecting other areas of my body and I don't know whether to bother mentioning
