Hi Beata
Sorry to hear you are in pain. I don't particularly get pain in the calves, but I do get swelling, pain and stiffness around my achilles tendons. Could this be your problem? Given that exercises for achilles tendon problems tend to involve calf stretches, I can imagine that the tendonitis could cause calf pain, too. As I understand it, achilles problems are extremely common for PsA sufferers. Perhaps try talking to your rheumatology team.
Hope you get some relief. x
This could be enthesitis which is the inflammation of tendons where they join a bone. Hence many with PsA have problems with their achilles tendons, but it can happen in other places too. There are several muscles that run along the back of the calf down into the ankle and even into the foot, and the tendons come together for some of them above the heel. The achilles tendon runs from the ankle bone half way up the calf so if this is inflamed it could be irritating the nerves all the way through.
As Ascidian says, it might be time to talk to your rheumy team.
