Hi I'm on prednisone and leflunomide vid d and jyseleca I have come up with a high temp and a fever, please tell me can I take any pain killers my body is killing me

There will be a pharmacy open somewhere reasonably close so you could go there and ask, I think the NHS website should have a list of pharmacy opening hours over the bank holiday weekend. The alternative would be to call 111.

Paracetamol should be fine and should reduce your temperature.

You can take Paracetamol 4 hrly and drink plenty of fluids to get your temperature down. Rest. Phone 111 if you’re getting worse today or your GP tomorrow if you can wait.

Test for Covid if you’ve got a test handy as you’ll need anti-virals as you’re on Jyseleca and prednisolone and therefore significantly immune suppressed. If you’re positive you definitely need to call 111.

I take lefludemide and Cosentyx and T3s on a regular basis so I see no reason you cannot take a pain drug with lefludemide . However I am surprised the prednisone did not control the pain. Perhaps your dosage should be reviewed by your doctor
