I can empathise with anyone suffering with Fibromyalgia or Chronic Arthritis because if you haven't experienced it, then people don't understand

So many of us have both conditions and so the pain is doubled up. As you say unless you have these conditions it is very difficult to understand.

I have both conditions and they fight one another. Have recently had knee replacement and now my hip has started. Can't win. I live on my own so have to keep going

Yes I do too. Far more difficult if you love on your own as no one to bring you a cuppa. I am married but my husbands health isn't good so have to admit there are some days I really struggle when I have to look after him as well. My friend who has a replacement knee and hip actually found the hip replacement easier than the knee. Is it the same side?x

I have now had both knees replaced, the right one being the latest. It is my left hip that is causing me problems. Your friend is right, apparently the knee is two joints where hip is just one.

finding it hard to cope at the moment. living alone alone with both conditions .i keep going because ihave 2 beautiful cats. i try to keep moving but the cold and damp make it worse. painkillers dont work anymore. have tried various private treatments nothing helps with this awful pain.

Love and hugs to all.

Think I may have arthritis too, particularly in my fingers/hands.

The joints are slightly misshapen and swollen. Can be so painful at times …… like now!! So frustrating when I enjoy knitting or crocheting as a distraction.

Yes I have both conditions and have just been diagnosed with a bad bout of costochondritis (I ended up in hospital as a suspected angina attack last week)

Now thinking it’s time for me to hibernate till spring 😂

Like us Fibro Guys n Gals need anything else to contend with.Osteo takes over when the old Fibro may subside or whatever out of the 2 wants to be overriding one that particular day.

So the good days are even more less than they were (which really wasn't often) so we have to adjust to both now which can be difficult as they have different "needs".

I find the problems exhausting mentally let alone physically.

Everyday when I wake up I think what's pains it gonna be today , how's it gonna be today, what am I gonna be able to do today. Then I think shall I do this, will I be able to do this, I'll give this a try and see how far I get and then the "doing" all the time being aware of what your doing and how your doing it and how will it affect you after doing it. Then of course once you've stopped see what it brings and how much pain your going to be in and are you gonna get rest tonight and then THE RESULT of all that "doing" hits you and you think " I should have done half of that today or maybe even any of it.

So yep for me the mental exhaustion can be even as debilitating as the health problems themselves.

And as all this is happening up there in ya head those around us are wondering what's going on with her ...🤗🙄🤔🤣 !!!! So yep your correct some just don't understand

F 🤗
