How can they really know?
I'm a bit perplexed as to how they can really tell the difference between OA and RA.I have heard of so many people that are told they have RA, to later be told it's OA. My arthritis symptoms have changed somewhat and are affecting other areas of my body and I don't know whether to bother mentioning

I was diagnosed fibromyalgia early this year but have now been referred back to Rheumatology due to swelling and ongoing stiffness in my joints. I also suffer with groin pain

Total knee replacement
I’m 6 days post total left knee replacement and struggling! I have no muscle strength to help my rehabilitation. Tocilizumab in the UK
I thought it may be helpful to share my Rheumy appointment yesterday. I have GCA and PMR and due to various reasons cannot tolerate Steriods. Instead I am treated with Methotrexate and tocilizumab which I received for a year as in standard in the UK. I was worried about what would happen when year expired

Hello everyone I’m having a PJ day today. Had a UTI come on yesterday that I’m trying to shake off myself. Plenty of experience with that over the years. Plus I woke with a headache, Very lethargic. I have been wondering for sometime if I’m having symptoms that could be Myositis. I’ve struggled with

chryotherapy
My local spa offers cryotherapy for arthritis. Has anyone tried this for RA and had any effect? I tried having a full body massage to help ease my aches but ended up hurting all over! A cold shower helps but I can’t spend all day in there. Does anyone have some good tips please ?

Adrenals
Morning everyone. This is my first post on here. I was diagnosed with GCA in August 2022 and have been tapering down the Prednisolone to 5mg. I also take Tocilizumab and Methotrexate as I’ve had a difficult time with the Prednisolone so many side effects. How do I know if my adrenal glands are working

Calcinosis
I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1998. I had been diagnosed with Raynauds before that and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Lucky me! My hands give me the most bother nowadays. Lots of pain and loss of dexterity. Does anyone have any tips to soften Calcinosis lumps? I have one on the inside of each thumb
