Half Marathon Plan: Strength and Cross Training 💥
I will be mostly
swimming
for my cross training sessions, and this may take me anything from 15 to 45 minutes.
Ideas for cross training:
★
Swimming
★ Cycling ★ Walking the dog ★ Yoga ★ Gym work - the elliptical trainer is particularly good ★ Strength training - more is more!

The slow one!
Along the way I was able to watch the local wildlife including blackbirds stealing berries from the tree branches, swans a
swimming
and dogs hustling their owners along the path. All in all it was a very enjoyable run.

Has endo stopped you exercising?!
Many people have suggested
swimming
but i just dont enjoy
swimming
and I really miss the buzz from exercise along with the health benefits. Has anyone else with endo been in similar situations where they can no longer enjoy exercising and sport?

Shocked about T3 blood test results.
Thank you for the comments I received yesterday about my high T3 blood test results T3 34 (3.1-6.8 ) TSH 0.01 ( .27-4.2) T4 17.5 ( 11-22) I just wondered if not adhering to the one hour after rule before having caffeine and food could mean that there could be loads of T3

Today I visited a drs here in Mexico because my ears were blocked, probably from
swimming
and I had been feeling a little dizzy. Long story short. My ears were infected and the dr wanted to give me an antibiotic by needle to get it into my system quicker than pills.

Interesting
I personally enjoy lifting weights, but probably more cardio-oriented exercises would be even better -
swimming
, biking, running.

Breathing & coughing
Im still walking grand pugs and
swimming
weekly and dancing. Im worried I’m moving from mod to severe but GP doesn’t give me results although my nurse used to. I haven’t seen a chest consultant since diagnosis maybe 10 yrs ago and no New scans or anything like that.

Lots of health problems
I once was an very active person but now I find it hard to go
swimming
now. I have lost some weight but its been hard as I'm always on steroids and antibiotics. I'm also sad as my youngest son has enrolled in the army and all my 4 kids have left home now.

My first run!
However, I was quite sporty as a child and teen, I did cross country running, netball, judo and
swimming
. That all stopped when I discovered partying in my late teens and early twenties and I developed a really unhealthy lifestyle, almost like I was purposely pushing my luck. Now I'm 31.

RLS & more
Also I've noticed it is usually worse I've been active, or been walking, cycling or
swimming
, during the day. Another irritant for me while trying to sleep is I have sleep apnea, and have to use a CPAP machine. So if the RLS doesn't get me the sleep apnea usually does.
