Routine Mammogram FEARS
I have been
swimming
in a fear loop for about two weeks. To the point that I have manifested pain in my breasts. I also need a sonogram because I have dense breasts. We are all worth the effort to live in the present moment but I just can’t seem to get there. Any advice/experience with????

OTD BFP - is it safe to go swimming in early pregnancy?
The nurse has said it’s fine to fly however I asked about whether I can go
swimming
or not and she advised me to check the nhs guidelines. When searching the internet some say it causes miscarriage or issues with baby development and then other sites say it’s safe and actually good for you?

Weekly Chat July 15th - 21st 😊 Maintaining serenity!
I seem to be trying to do a lot of difficult stuff like pull-ups, sea
swimming
, and rehabbing my grumpy Achilles, and a lot of entertaining is on the horizon, and it's stressing me out a bit! Must remember to keep calm and smell the roses (or sagebrush, as

Activities with Warfarin
And, I hope to get back to the gym,
swimming
, mountaineering, skiing and mountain biking. Before my surgery I was thinking about getting into BJJ and still really want to but have been told that contact sports are out of the question. What activities do you do?

Heart rates zones and exercise with heart disease
At present I do 20 minutes on the treadmill, then a bit of time on various weight machines, sometimes ten or 15 minutes on an exercise bike and I also try and get around 30 minutes
swimming
if the pool's not too busy.

Follow a plan or run to feel?
My friend said I would be OK to start at 13miles when I'm ready to start back training as just had a break running if I felt like it and
swimming
. I know I would not have lost fitness since Swansea just pace not that I was fast to start with lol.

Positive results from chemo (Docetaxel) & some questions
He goes
swimming
, workouts and does infrared sauna almost everyday. The best part is, he no longer has pains and there are no more blood in his urine (yey!). I do hope and pray these continue on even after chemo.

Week 6, run 3 - new shoes and 25 minutes. Woo hoo!
My legs felt like they weren't attached to my body when I stopped - you know how when you get out of the
swimming
pool you feel heavier? Well it was the opposite of that, I felt incredibly light, like my legs might just float away. I can't believe I'm actually running now. It feels brilliant.

Having a beer...
Riding Harley, working hard,
swimming
, lifting heavy objects. The only thing I’ve restrained from was alcohol. I do not smoke or do Drugs. It would be nice to know if anybody on here that enjoys a drink when they had their first drink after their ablation.

My enemy is Gout
I’ve been
swimming
more and attending aqua classes so have been moderately active but this gout is immobilising. Any suggestions anyone? I’ll contact my doctor in the morning.

October Half Marathon Group 😄 Cross training and lashings of ginger beer 🤤
If you hate
swimming
, cycling, etc. it may well be counter-productive to force yourself to do it. But I would just like to add that it may be worth your while to get some tuition - you're much more likely to enjoy doing something if you are better at doing it! Have a great week!!

Break away
It’s a lovely house with an indoor
swimming
pool and spacious grounds, I’m doing my sponsored walk for BLF while we’re there. The forecast is good so think we’ll have a wonderful time, lots of games and fun in the sun. X

Week 5 - Day 3 - the big leap!
The moment I opened my eyes this morning I came up with all sorts of excuses - my ears hurt from
swimming
yesterday... it was already "too hot"... I really should go into work early today... I have nothing to wear for such a momentous run...

Tingling Sensation in hands and arms
This feeling comes and goes, but is often worse after exercise, which I do quite frequently to more than a moderate level (
swimming
hard, running). My Echo showed my heart in above average condition for my 61 years, and I feel totally fine otherwise.

PERICARDITIS: Does anybody have any answers???
As I feel a bit better, I have begun
swimming
a little as its a gentle and relaxing way of exercise. I managed 10 lengths of the 50m length pool the first time, (it took me 45 minutes!!). This week I did 16!! I'm very proud of myself!!!

3 Month Post Ablation Check
Up until that point had been doing well with a good 1.5-2 mile a day walk and some
swimming
odd days thrown in.
