OTD BFP - is it safe to go swimming in early pregnancy?

Hi lovely ladies, So today is 13DP FET, OTD and my BFP has remained phew 😅

However I go to our family home in France next week. The nurse has said it’s fine to fly however I asked about whether I can go swimming or not and she advised me to check the nhs guidelines.

When searching the internet some say it causes miscarriage or issues with baby development and then other sites say it’s safe and actually good for you?

Does anybody actually know? Maybe I should just avaoid the pool to be extra safe right?

Hi GoingMental. Lovely news, but I'm going to be a killjoy and ask you to wait until you are further into your pregnancy. Some pools aren't as clean as they should be, and I worry about any infection. Hope all goes well. Diane

A big no no from my clinic too. They say no for whole pregnancy due to infection! Have a lovely time away 😃

My clinic said swimming after BP was fine as long as it was a regulated swimming pool (local swimming baths) however I waited until about 7 weeks to go swimming x
