Swimming after CIRCUMCISION

Hello everyone,,I got Circumcised 18days ago and all the wounds are sealed up, absolutely no pain and only a couple dozen stitches on the underside,is it ok to go swimming in a fresh water lake at this point?

The nurse actually advised me to avoid swimming for at least 2 months. I swam 6 weeks after circumcision, when it healed up and stitches were removed. Some parts of the skin became itchy which got me worried about possible infection. Nothing happened, but I stayed dry after that, until 2 months is over just, in case.

Just sharing what I did.

I’m glad you posted this I was actually wondering that myself. As the people are saying I think it’s ok. I’ll be swimming next week and I’ll let you know if you want!

Hey my guy is ok then for me to swim in Lakes, Swimming pools, and Apartment pools then? Because I'm wondering as well because im swimming tomorrow for a party

I was at my cottage this weekend and I chose not to swim in the lake quite yet. I’m basically 4 weeks post op. However when I’m back home next week I’m going to try and start swimming at in our pool. So I can’t really tell you yes or no really.
