Is well , at the moment I have a cold I feel it’s a constant breathlessness even walking around I wanted to know I’m overweight but slowly losing , I don’t smoke , if I added going to the gym and swimming will I always be breathless , would my breathing improve ?
Would also losing weight improve my activity’s ? And I’d breathe better than how I am now ,
Thank you all

Hi HometeamThe answer to your questions is yes. Exercising regularly and weight loss will definitely improve the breathlessness. You could ask your GP to send you to pulmonary rehabilitation, where they will discuss exercise and show you how to manage your breathlessness. Or you can check out you tube where there is stuff regarding PR on there. Good luck.
I’m hoping this regular breathlessness is the cold but it seems more from the throat rather than chest I have a dry cough but even walking around the garden I have to deep breathe
Hi Hometeam and welcome. Swimming will help but build up slowly, some people forget that swimming is an exercise and before you go to the gym please have a word with your GP or a trainer at the gym first for some advice about the best exercise for you. Hope this helps, please let us know how you get on. Have a great day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx
