new medical conditions from ER visit
Guess it’s something you’re born with and stimulants (caffeine),
stress
, alcohol, smoking can cause it. I don’t drink or smoke but enjoy a few cups of coffee a day. Was told to cut that out. And to stop taking Prozac because it’s more stimulating. I feel better these past few weeks now.

Can MRI cause a flare?
Lying on the scanner bed with my knees supported hasn’t helped but I wondered if the magnetic field in the scanner has affected my PMR or is it just the
stress
and early hours appointment?

Hi I am Joan 83 and very lucky to still be here
I have got a Doctors Surgery now that takes time to explain to me, what is happening with my body, I wish I had left the previous Surgery years ago' as I do think I would have had a lot less
stress
😱 had I known. I live in Saltdean by the sea.

Struggling
Been struggling for the past 18 months because of
stress
and now my T has been spiked by my neighbour’s car alarm. His car is parked right at the side of my house and his alarm keeps going off. It’s incredibly loud and after 3 times being exposed to it I’ve got new sounds in both ears.

your thoughts welcome
Hope that was just
stress
related... My biggest fear is being left worse off and being not well trying to care for my mum. I recently lost one carer I had so it is just me now and not easy to get another one privately.

I think the RLS pain and some
stress
here at home caused it to flare. I absolutely refuse to go back on the steroid again. My best to all and remember to put on some music and dance like no one is watching! Till later, Linda

Fed up, sore and weary.
I wondered if my flare up had started because of my
stress
while waiting for my Mammogram results. They were clear, thankfully, but I'm still in with the horrors. I'm at a loss now as to how I can get through this, I'm usually fairly upbeat but this has knocked me about too much.

New Here - Malar Rash or bad complexion?
I’ve been told it’s
stress
, anxiety, vitamin deficiency (without any evidence) and told there’s nothing physically wrong. I’ve been seen my multiple GPs and a neurologist because MS was suspected.

Hopelessness
I've been diagnosed officially with PTSD this week which is not a shock. I begin EMDR sessions next week so hope those are able to help. I have these bouts of feeling hopeless. I'm trying not to go too hard on myself but just feel that things will never get easier. Cry myself to sleep most nights with

Managing Burnout
It seems unlikely that burnout recovery is an option because of the high
stress
of PSP and my husband's growing needs and dependence. Any ideas would help. Also, I'm glad I found this page. Reading everyone's post makes this feel much less lonely. :)

I saw a different rheumatologist at my appt this week who threw me a complete curve ball by saying that she didn't think I'd got either of those things but something else entirely - where the connective muscles become inflamed due to
stress
or an infection.

But I'm worried about the need to stop alcohol - I am under so much
stress
(caring for my 90 year old mother) and I do like more than two glasses a week. Plus some of the other side effects are scary.

Supporting Egg Quality
Reduction of
stress
as much as possible but that's a struggle. I am also taking sertraline and may need some antihistamines in the future. After the devastating first round where we had 2 fertilised eggs but no blastocysts, your support and helpful tips will be so very appreciated 😊

Mindfulness and meditation
I also can't afford therapy at the moment because of certain circumstances so I'm doing everything on my own which is adding some
stress
to the situation. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to talk about their experience with mindfulness and/or meditation?

vasospastic coronary arteries
I have had ( I think) nearly every other test which in order are exercise
stress
test, numberous echos, CT , MRI
stress
, angiogram, CT then open heart surgery for aneurysm. Interestingly the only lengthy period of relief ( nearly two months exactly) was after the OHS ( for the aneurysm).
