I had Covid last year and was very ill, lungs badly affected and put on
steroids
and inhalers, my asthma which had almost gone for years suddenly re-appeared.

Need advice
Have insisted on handling my own
steroids
whilst here. Don’t really want to add anything unless necessary . I can usually recognise PMR pain but this has me a bit confused…

Stronger than steroids
I have had nasty asthma attacks for four days now, as the weather has got cold again. The asthma nurse says that she will ask the consultants permission to move me on to something stronger than fostair 200, to avoid having to give more pred. Any ideas as to which inhaler she could be referring to

Humble pie
After worrying about interrupting my sleep by getting up early in the morning to take my
steroids
, I changed to 8 a.m. Some aches and pains returned and I felt tired. I am now back to taking my
steroids
in the early hours and feel much more energetic etc.

Coming off Steroids
Since being told I have no active inflammation, I thought I would try and come off the
steroids
. I'm only on a couple of Budesonide as a maintenance treatment. Anyway things were going OK ish, till my last day of taking 1 tablet.

Vitamin Supplements for PMR
I’m in a very good place with my PMR since starting
steroids
, by comparison to many on here and I don’t want to disrupt this. I also fully intend to be a tortoise with tapering, especially from 10mg on.

Bee Sting and Prednisone
I think high dose
steroids
are sometimes given very short term for serious bee sting allergies, but as far as I know I’m not allergic. The sting site is slightly red, slightly swollen and somewhat painful. Any thoughts?

After recent phone call from Doctors saying he wants me off

Feeling a bit depressed about my vitamin D level. Is it due to my adrenal insufficiency?
I've recently been diagnosed with mild adrenal insufficiency and am on a fairly low dose of daily
steroids
- 7.5mgs morning and 5mgs afternoon.

Fatigue with R&A
The biggest problem I have apart from deformed hands and feet (as they have literally just left me waiting except for a brief period on
steroids
) is fatigue. Can anyone offer any advice on how to not feel so tired all the time ?

Also, currently on

Hi GCA and polymyalgia
I'm now on 5mg of
steroids
reducing by 1mg per month. Once diagnosed with this it seemed to trigger so many other things, polymyalgia, atrial fibulation, psoriatic arthritis (I already had psoriasis for 15 years), etc . Jy psoriasis meds have been changed again recently..
