Shaking and 'nervy'
I've experienced shaking quite a lot since taking
steroids
for about eighteen months but now I seem to be in a constant nervous state, not "me" at all. I wake up by 5.00 every morning with my heart thumping and feeling shaky.

I’ve got
steroids
this time so I’m really hoping it helps with NK cells. Had lap surgery a few months ago too so I’m hoping for a better environment for them will help also. So any tips now…foods to eat, things to avoid. I’ve taken off work till Wednesday .

Not looking forward to taking them but as I'm on
steroids
for the rest of my life they seem the best one and hopefully the one with the least side effects. Has anyone taken Risedronate and how were the side effects.

Not sure anymore
I can sleep all day and nap during the day.My GP thought PMR and gave me a 10 day course of 20mg
steroids
. Fortunately or unfortunately I never noticed no improvement. Next step, my GP referred me for a Cervical Spinal x-ray. This has been rejected by the radiologists and returned to my gp.

Recovering after hospital stay
I’m on
steroids
now and used the nebuliser whilst in hospital. I was discharged on Thursday, My chest is still tight and sore at times. How long will that last and how long until I’m back on my feet? Should I just be getting on with things or should I rest a lot? What’s best for recovery?

Depo-Medrone 120 jab. How long do the effects last?
This suits me perfectly, I don't really want to be taking oral
steroids
if I can avoid them. But how long does the effect of the injection last? It has been a week now and I can feel some of the symptoms returning.

Treatment stopped
They have prescribed some
steroids
to help the fatigue and loss of appetite. I feel numb, broke down when the Oncologist gave prognosis.

Pluvicto going well
Side effects: • A little tired, but that was offset by a week of
steroids
as was any "rebound pain" from extensive mets in my pelvis and spine.

I start
steroids
and immunosuppressants tomorrow. Will I be on those forever? Any advice for any of this? I’m so new and I just don’t know what it all means. Severity, future, etc., etc., etc.

He’s been managing his own

Steroids _ I hate them!
My Consultant was going through my drugs once and he said you have been on
steroids
for a long time and then said Oh you might as well stay on them. Has anyone on long term
steroids
been able to come off this drug and how long did it take you?

Stopping meds before operation. 😏
My rheumatologist said that if/when I start to flare in this time, I can ask for
steroids
😭I don't want them again.

Swapping/stopping mtx
Then last year I was continuously ill, I had shingles followed by a really bad chest and cough which I was told was a lung infection then a different GP decided it was pneumonia and I was given
steroids
which I ended up taking for 8 weeks until my cough cleared.

Anyone developed type 2 diabetes from steroids? wondering if maybe this is a developing problem for me - I have a high dose steroid inhaler.
just wondered if anyone had experienced this? I’ve just had a short course of prednisolone and feeling very fatigued.

All the neighbours thought it was me when they saw the ambulance and then police outside and were so shocked to find out it was him.On Tues I upped the
steroids
because I seized up and could hardly move. I was on 6mg but I upped it to 16 and can move a bit better.

A story of hope for those suffering recurrent implantation failure
I was prescribed
steroids
and intralipids to address the raised NK cell count. Our first FET failed which was a massive blow.
