Like everyone else I want to get off the
steroids
asap, in particular because of the side effects ( I have lost much of my hair, sweating, skin thinning, muscle weakness etc). I’d be grateful for any advice

Lumbosacral Plexopathy Continues
I explained the issues I was still having and he's recommended that I go on some
steroids
to help settle the inflammation. I was a little bit unsure about taking them but on thinking about it, I can't live like I am so stuff it. I'll take the side effects against this problem any day.

Steroids problems
Last Friday I spoke to our respiratory nurse and explained I'd been fighting for breath and had used my SOS antibiotics. She told me to take the SOS Prednisilone as well. I did so but immediately my diabetic bloods shot up to 10.5 and have remained at that level since (for years, they've been between

APS Symptoms
I’m newly diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic (through steroid use) and have meds for that for the autoimmune diseases I take
Steroids
10mg, Mepacrine, Apixaban, asprin, Azathioprine and DF118 (Dihydrocodine), when needed paracetamol/morphine. I can’t have HCQ or Gabba or Amatryptalines.

Fragility score on Osteoscan and different meds.
The bone density at both sites has dropped a little which is partly due to age and partly due to the
steroids
. However, you remain osteopenic not osteoporotic at both sites.

Steroid Withdrawal???
:-) She did offer me Naproxen as a way of getting off
steroids
, but told me I'd have to have something to protect my stomach when taking the Naproxen. I told her about the one and only time I'd taken an Ibruprofen tablet.

Starting therapy 5 yrs post CAR-T with another immunotherapy trial, now epcoritamab
I won't be posting frequent updates here or on other forums, but will try to blog on the website when the
steroids
and the Benadryl and the fire alarms and the frequent vital sign checks and the blood draws give me a break. I'm pretty tired and sleep deprived.

Low Cortisol Symptoms Hid Lymphoma
Reduction of
steroids
—Extreme exhaustion, loss of appetite and weight, weakness, dry coughing, numb chin. All but the numb chin could be symptoms of low cortisol.

Pmr and heart attack
He did really well with the
steroids
, they worked to manage the symptoms and he took his last dose in February. Previously he was a fit, healthy and strong person. Pmr definitely took some of his muscle strength and I think it slowed him down too.
