Hi :) I had viral meningitis back in May of 2015 . It is now November of 2015. I recovered back in May in about a week . However in June I started feeling a loss of sensation or numbness in my face and dizziness . It would come and go so Id ignore it but now it's so bad I can hardly ever go to work or

Don't ever give up
When I look back to when I started C25k I could barely walk due to
shin
splints
but proper gait analysis and new shoes sorted that and I just kept pushing through the pain.

Skin cancer.
My G.P. has prescribed "Solaraze" gel as a treatment for my skin cancer, but my research suggests it should not be applied to broken skin (which I have) and it is primarily for sunburn, any advice or comments please.

New Ortho Dr Follow Up
He doesn't believe that the pain in my
shin
is "
shin
splints
" (as told to me by my GP and Ortho Doc)He did say that the pain if it were
shin
splints
would be in a certain area in my tibia, this pain is from the tip of the tibia all the way down to the ankle joint.

Running with a cold/sore throat
Hi, do you carry on running with a cold/sore throat? I have had a bad cold and sore throat all week but if I didn't get some fresh air I think I would have slept all day! Wasn't sure I'd make a full 30 min run so tried the 20 min run from week 5. Have done that 3 times this week. Still snotty but

Excess calcium
Is excess calcium a symptom of Raynauds ??..I have extra bone growing all over the place. 4 surgeries on my shoulder, because of excess bone growth causing pressure on nerves, and it`s starting to cause problems yet again. I have extra bone growths in both feet, which are asymptomatic, but make shoe

Back pain: Adrenal fatigue, feet pain and knee pain.. what we do not get told!
Those tired feet,
shin
splints
, plantar fasciitis, and burning claves are often due to adrenal gland fatigue. These muscle support the normal arch of the foot, and that allows a person to naturally pronate when they walk/run.

Is this shin splints?
Hello, first poster and very new runner. I am a middle aged, overweight woman who has never run in her life till now. Inspired by my grown up kids who all exercise, and seeing plenty of women that look like me complete a 10k in central London a couple of weeks ago, I decided the time had come. I have

Shin splints :-(
I had just started W4 when I started to get
shin
splints
on my left leg. I'm totally new to running (new to any cardio in fact) and was really enjoying the C25K. I stopped running completely for 10 days, did lots of stretching and icing and last night decided to try again.

Runniversary
I also got the dreaded
shin
splints
after week 2, I have no idea why I just didn't give up at that point! A trip to a sport shop and some proper shoes sorted that out quickly, from what I read here I got off very lightly, only 2 weeks off.

Shin splints :'(
I've succumbed to the dreaded
shin
splints
. Haven't been out for a run in 11 days as they're still sore (they only hurt when I go up and down stairs now, not when I walk).

Feeling a bot nauseous and tired for a few days after, but coping Ok with it ( after some pretty horrendous vomiting with azathioprine, anything is an improvement) Anyway woke up this morning
