Only half of blood test results
After being diagnosed borderline hypo , getting horrendous symptoms, and after a lot of faffing about back and forward from the GP and insisting on referral to an Endo, I started taking 25mg levo in July, then upped to 50mg from Sept on advice of Endo and he said to have a further blood test 3 months

Oil of Oregano
Hi everyone: I often hear oil of Oregano can help with many ailments. Has anyone had any experience with it for the treatment of CLL? I'm not one to off half cocked trying anything and everything looking for the miracle cure. I realize we have an incurable disease but wonder if there aren't things

Update on my alternative therapies
I wrote a long post yesterday but it appears not to have posted successfully, so forgive me if this turns out to be a duplication. PMR: I have had my fourth low level light treatment. The physiotherapist says the muscles in my back are more relaxed than they were when I started, and certainly my back

Fish oil
I recently posted that I was concerned about fish oil because it had DHA. It seems that was only 1 or 2 studies and the bulk of the evidence is strongly in favor of fish oil and DHA. For comparison, there is almost no evidence for coconut oil. There is a good chance fish oil is the most important

Training advice going forward.
Hi there, My names Tom, I'm 28 and I've been lifting properly now for about 6-8 months. I started my journey 3 years ago at around 17.5 stone (6ft tall) I'm now down to 15, still classed as overweight and feeling much better about it. Over the last 6 months I've worked on a routine that started as

Ordering a-Syn blockers in bulk. Master list of nutrients for PD.
I'm going to order the following plant extracts in bulk from China as powders and mix them for storage and later mixing in drinks. I'll dump the powders in a 5 gallon bucket, shake, bottle, and label according to FDA. I'm already taking about 2/3 of them. Let me know if I'm missing anything. I

Statins are the biggest money spinner in the world, no wonder that they want us all to be on them, money money and money!!
My Mum was on statins, she had dementia, a very clever woman indeed, if I had known what I know now, I would never have given her a statin, or the calcium tablets. Both of which contributed to her death. Good article from the Daily Telegraph, but there is so much info out there, as to why we should

This week Has truly been one of my best weeks since it all started. I have been using a very good vitamine joined with omega fish oils

How I heal my IBS
Hello.. I am Jenish from United States. I have been suffering from this discomfort and irritating pain in the left abdomen since April 2013. I was in Belfast, UK at that time, studying PhD there. It took about 6-7 months for the NHS (UK health service) to figure out that I was suffering from IBS.

Nice article from HypothryroidMom, interesting about the hair loss.
Maybe I should start taking oil of evening primrose. Already on day 5 of my Rosita Extra virgin cod liver oil, which has the omegas in it, as she mentions. I have researched, and found that this one, is really the only good one, totally natural, not heated at all, and no supplements added back in,

Extra virgin cod liver oil, or EVCLO
As I'm always interested in searching for new supplements, I thought that I would try cod liver oil, like my Mum used to give us as kids. Then I happened on the EVCLO, found it to be far superior from what I have read, so going to buy it today. Reasons being, strengthen our immune system, as with Hypo

Colofac or Buscopan ?
Which do you find helps with your IBS cramps & pains the best, I am not sure either helps me, I think peppermint oil sometimes takes the edge of it a bit.
