Migraine relief
I thought I would update. I have been given sumatriptan again by my GP, which does seem to do the trick, but after having these in the past the effect wears off gradually. I researched a lot about migraine relief and natural remedies, and found that peppermint and lavender oil is really good for helping

some relief
Amazingly I feel a bit less fatigued and no headaches. Or could the sun be helping? It normally gives me headaches. I have added 1000 mg primrose oil to my diet, initially for women's issues but this is interesting.

Desperate for some advice please
I was originally found to have Hashimoto's 6 years ago. My TSH has bounced about ever since between 3.65 and 5.2. I have seen 3 GPs over that time at our Practice and under UK guidelines none will prescribe levothyroxine and can offer no advice on how to deal with this apart from one suggesting HRt might

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Alpha-Linolenic Acid [ALA]
When terms are new to people, eyes can start to glaze. But I think the gist will get through. Skip past the double-bond stuff if so inclined. Alpha-linolenic acid is an omega-3 fatty acid. It has a backbone of 18 carbons, with double-bonds at positions 9, 12 & 15 (the last is 3 from the end, which

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Conjugated Linoleic Acid [CLA]
The post on beef yesterday had me thinking of conjugated linoleic acid [CLA]. CLA in the meat of grass-fed cattle supposedly has anti-PCa properties. No human PCa studies, of course but see [10]. (Feedlot beef has no appreciable CLA.) CLA is available as supplements [11] [12]. Both derived from safflower

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Beef
[1] Introduction. Unlike chicken, which has largely been ignored by PCa-Diet studies, beef has been scrutinized for a quarter of a century. Almost all of the studies are American. According to one beef industry source, Americans eat about 80 lbs of beef each year. Pork is about 51 lbs. Unfortunately

Being patient when starting new meds or new dose of existing meds.
I have been doing my new med routine for 4 1/2 months now. I am feeling better every week. The side affects are down to almost nothing. I don't have any issues during the day just minor things in the evening. Most of my problems are do to me getting off schedule with my meds or eating to much at one

Our Deadly Diabetes Deception
Here is one nice article .. http://www.healingmatters.com/deception.htm it says... Repair the faulty blood sugar control system. This is done simply by substituting clean healthy beneficial fats and oils in the diet for the pristine looking but toxic trans-isomer mix found in attractive plastic containers
