Week 1 complete!
I've done c25k before and it really helped me to achieve my longer
running
goals. Just need to keep the motivation going as it feels so good after each run.

I Run... and I Ramble... whatever...
I just realised that I have not posted a run or runs for ages... and I wanted to... and whilst I was
running
.. all sorts of funny lines were
running
through my head... so, I do apologise... Floss rambling rhyme coming up! *** I haven't rambled for a while But now, uh oh, I'm back.

looking for some reassurance
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I am 3dp5dt and my clinic said to carry on as normal just no sex, swimming or
running
a marathon. Today I wasnβt thinking and cleaned up after our electrician - I carried a pretty heavy Henry hoover up to our loft room.

Worry: Running Bounces Degarelix Stomach Depot
I also walk briskly everyday with significant
running
segments on my route. I just in the least few days have my new Degarelix depot in my stomach - and
I noticed the depot was bouncing up and down when I run
.

As we are away this week, no chance of
running
so nice walk yesterday of about 12 km up and down on this little beauty. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/11749365223?share_unique_id=340

Ladies, any help/advice to help me with my crazy hormones and endometriosis?
These symptoms are: constant cystic acne (no matter what diet or healthy lifestyle I have, it stubbornly wont go away), constant abdominal bloating, severe pelvic and ovary pain, back pain and sciatica like pain
running
down my legs. These pains rotate through my cycle.

π Fartlek or Foolish
To my horror it was a 20 min Fartlek run with 6 mins of easy pace
running
to warm up. I decided to play safe and listen to the coaching, maintaining my easy pace & keeping an eye out for the ice. A happy lady to get in a 26 min run with no slipping or sliding. π πββοΈ βοΈ

My running buddies!
Just wanted to share a pic of my summer
running
buddies! Cambridge allows grazing of animals on the commons, by Royal charter from 1400 or some such. We know summer can't be far away when the girls come back!

Carboplatin alternatives
They do not want to give me weekly Paclitaxel because I reacted badly to it before so I am
running
out of options and depressed by the stats for those unable to have Platinum treatment.

10 miles - finally!
I always hated
running
at school and had not run since then. If anyone asked, my response would be "I don't do the 'R' word!" Even now I wouldn't say that I particularly enjoy
running
itself, but it's SUCH a sense of achievement to complete a run.

Finishing cardiac rehab - what next?
I'm really keen to get back
running
safely. But There seems to be so little guidance once the course is over. I wondered if you guys had any info on programs that are curated by cardiac physios aimed at getting back to a high level of fitness? Thanks

Another (long) Great South Run Report
All was going well until the last few months when I had a rotator cuff injury (thankfully not affecting
running
but it stopped me doing Pilates which helps my
running
), sciatica and other niggles. This interrupted my
running
schedule and I had only got to 12.5 km.

Walking speed?
Never is my guess, so why worry about your
running
speed? I blame Laura, telling us right at the beginning we will cover around 5K in 30 minutes. I've never even come close, not in 9 years of
running
. Nor is my walking pace 4 MPH, never even come close to that either.

A bit more about speed
So, enjoy your
running
. Find out what makes it meaningful for you, and never get hung up on the numbers, they are not necessarily your friend.
