Just wanted to share a pic of my summer running buddies! Cambridge allows grazing of animals on the commons, by Royal charter from 1400 or some such. We know summer can't be far away when the girls come back!

My running buddies!
Aww... I love cows 😁Such inquisitive creatures!
The were always curious when I was hotair ballooning and landed in their field 😁
Aren’t they lovely! 🐮🐮🐮
They are lovely,
Meep! I would run the other way - really not sure about cows.
If they have babies you should be careful, but that would be out in the country... these are Cambridge cows, and have no young. You still need to treat them with respect but they won't hurt you...
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Brings back so many memories good and bad when we used to walk through here on the path of course and walk into town what a beautiful walk in the summer but you need to have eyes in the back of your head for bikes too. Love Cambridge buzzing with student life. Do remember one not so nice occasion when they found a dead body next to the small stream that runs through, swarming with police and body covered in white sheeting approx 2017.
I’m with BahamaMama1 ! I love cows…from the other side of a fence!
Lovely photo of them though. Thanks for sharing!
Aww sweet. really like cows, such curious beings and I've always found them so gentle, although I've heard that can change if they have calves with them! I'm usually honoured by a local herd of roe deer ( well 4 if that counts as a herd! ) & lots of brown hares. Just love spring and the lighter nights!.🏃♀️🦌
Sorry, but I hate them! I had the misfortune to be at the scene of a cow trampling incident a few years ago. I wasn't involved, but hubby and I helped out and waited for the ambulance. Trust me, it's a sight that you never want to witness. Please take care
