Week 6, run 2 with demons
Felt easier
running
and I tried to enjoy the run and my surroundings. As I reached the last 3 or 4 minutes I remembered my grandson, then 5 yrs old, doing a 3k run with his mum last year.

I'm still Running..
Hi All, I've not been here for while but I have kept
running
and have accumulated many a medal along the way. These are my incentive. Just recently though something more kicked in. What I hear you cry! Well on the days that I don't run I don't like it.

Week 2 - C25K on holiday
After starting my return to C25K in autumnal Warrington, for my second week I decided that despite being on holiday in Rhodes I needed to keep going and brought my
running
shoes with me. Even in temperatures of 26 degrees, I found early evening runs along the coast with a cooling breeze were fine.

Back to it!
First run post Covid and I thought I’d head off to the
running
club and join in with a Week4, Run 1 couch to 5K run. Not the time to be pushing myself. It was a little warm, but it was so slow it didn’t matter 😊 And it felt good to be
running
again. I’ve lost a little fitness but not too much.

Early Run
Felt good up through 6k and then CB tells me we are going to mix it up a bit and do a bit of interval
running
. WHAT?? I upped my effort for a short time and then dropped back to recovery speed and then did it again. Surprised I had it in me as the temps were heating up.

a blustery day!!
Today with the wind it was smelling for a lot longer , and then when I turned around I was
running
against the wind which made my rain soaked teeshirt feel really chilly. I was glad to get back to the roses for a second Turkish Delight hit.

Diltazem-low blood pressure
On this I’m exhausted and my blood pressure is
running
98/68. Sometimes lower first thing in the morning. Does this get better as you adapt to the medication or should I call the doctor?

The best-laid plans of mice and men (and 60-year old Welsh women)...
However, I am committing to go out & do at least the equivalent of W1R2 3x per week *but* walking fast rather than
running
, with a view to starting C25K properly in October when we're back. I really want to get back to
running
but it's not worth the risk.

CHANGING-ROOM CHAT. WEEK 4. Welcome. There is a voice that does not use words. Listen.
We start slowly, we hold back, trying not to spend too much cash on
running
gear, in case we don't enjoy it, and we take it steadily until, suddenly almost, without us realising it,
running
is a part of us. We look forward to our runs, we look forward to each new week of the plan.

🏃♀️🏅👨🎓Graduates Club...The Next Steps: September 👩🎓🏅🏃♀️
Running
as a graduate will look different for everyone which is why we really hope people will share what they’ve been doing. We can pinch ideas and take inspiration from each other. The key thing is to keep it steady and remember you’ve got a whole lifetime of
running
ahead of you.

Advice on B12 injections
They are
running
tests for PA but so far all looks to be negative (they’ve also run tests for thyroid problems etc.) so they just said that they’ll need to monitor it and check back in 2 months to see if I’m absorbing it.

Trapped Median nerve
Doctor has given me pain relief tablets and exercises to do that are helping , but as a newly graduated runner happily
running
5Ks I’m frustrated as the jogging up and down motion is causing too much pain to run.

wk8 r1! Niggly lower back
I need go get new
running
shoes and my youngest is very heavy so there is lots of carrying on the hip. I’m doing Pilates along side the
running
but I wondered if it could be
running
related as well? Has anyone experienced this? Suggestions/tips? Thanks!

second hand?
Anyway, I was browsing Vinted and the thought came to me of second hand
running
shoes to use on the park run. A fraction of the price of another new pair as well. What’s your thoughts on someone else’s shoes for
running
? Would they be ‘moulded’ to the previous owners feet, gait or whatever.

W9:3 “I (don’t) want to break free-eee”
Then I thought about
running
after C25K, and how easy it would be to slip out of the routine, if I didn’t run when there wasn’t really a good reason not to. So I donned the clobber - thin leggings, thin sleeveless top (I have finally learned my lesson), and stepped out.

Insane
As it was cold and wet I decided my long sleeve winter
running
top was needed as well as a lightweight rain jacket which I hadn't seen for quite a while. Needless to say I couldn't find it so ended up with my heavy duty rain coat.

Week 1, run 2, six months later. And no red kites.
On my last pass most of them had gone and one lady was returning back, and asked how long I'd be
running
so I explained briefly, and she wished me luck. Some people are lovely 😊
