Hot and sunny holiday runs
With bikes on the back, an inflatable kayak squeezed in and not forgetting our
running
shoes we arrived in blazing hot sunshine. A quick delightful paddle to start off, it's first outing this year, just to remind ourselves how to do it again. Next morning, up with the lark and off for a run.

So, if you're still
running
very slowly like me, and feel like you're not getting anywhere, do persevere. I felt so, so proud of myself, and I now feel 5k might actually be in sight one day! Keep on keeping on!

confused
I’ve had one thing after another, infections, food poisoning , feel like I have no reserves,
running
on empty. Due for revue with GP, is this normal?

post-holiday run was great!
I recently posted about my experience
running
in very hot (27) humid (89%) weather in Kenya. I had some great advice to have electrolytes before and after the run and it really helped. It was still really hard though and I was only able to make it to 5.5k towards the end of the holiday.

Bl**dy Electric Scooters
My partner and I were
running
side-by-side early yesterday morning on the footpath when we heard a shout from behind. As we turned a large guy on an electric scooter went flying between us. He literally brushed my chest as he went through, any closer and he would have knocked me flying.

Zytiga issue solved…
without for a few days…….when I called my insurance company and got to talk to someone who gave a hoot it was discovered that a new pre-Auth was NOT needed…….10 or more phone calls later we ironed out the remaining issues of incorrect co pay and expedited shipping……I “should” get delivery prior to

I guess that's why they have pacer in
running
groups! I am going to try using songs for pacing (bpm as spm). Any other recos for how to get there
running
solo?

Back after 3 weeks
Hello
running
buddies. It’s been about 3 weeks since I posted here. First, an energetic (but no
running
!) week away with my twin, 12 year old grandsons, then a sore foot (feels like I’ve got a marble under the ball of my foot) and then another impromptu trip away in the motorhome.

So tired of things
It's all I can do to keep up with
running
my solo law practice and keeping us solvent which is enough to stress me out all the time. I have a great girlfriend, but I worry about whether I can keep that together too.

Hello all - 71 years old and hoping to run!
My physio has said I would be fine to start
running
again as long as I take it easy. So fingers crossed I will start again at day 1 tomorrow and take it gently. Good luck to all would-be runners out there. It's worth it! Mary

Levothyroxine linked to high blood sugar readings.
I got up this morning and planned to check my blood sugar but was wondering why the readings lately have been
running
a little high and just thought i would look up if my levothyroxine might have anything to do with it. I am glad i found your site, i learned a lot from here.
