Back after 3 weeks

Hello running buddies. It’s been about 3 weeks since I posted here. First, an energetic (but no running!) week away with my twin, 12 year old grandsons, then a sore foot (feels like I’ve got a marble under the ball of my foot) and then another impromptu trip away in the motorhome. Finally got out there this morning, foot still sore but mainly when walking, rather than running. But managed a 20 minute jog through the woods, thought the trails would be easier on the foot. Generally pleased with first run back but if anyone has any advice re foot I’d be very grateful. I ran in my Hoka Bondi 8s as it was dry and they felt as comfy as anything I have.

Sorry - no foot advice (apart from don't do anything risky!), but really well done on the run!

Thank you. I think my 9 months off exercise with LC weakened me. I’m 67 so need to take care of my running equipment!!

It's a literal pain, isn't it? I'm 61 but the ups and (especially) the downs since covid have added more than a few bumps in the road. And then getting into an exercise routine, getting fitter ... and having another spanner in the works ...

Ah, well - onwards!
