I wouldn't believe how hard it is to run three times a week.
There are so many obstacles.. it's like the whole world is trying to get me out of my routine. Desperate lack of time, a lot of work, tiredness.. and now winter is coming. -2˚C and it is clear to me that this is only the beginning. It means being careful because of the ice on the road.
For now, I'm trying to persevere. I'll see how long..
Happy running!

You’re right, it takes commitment; especially when it seems like there are so many things (work, the weather, time, injury, illness, commitments, demons) trying to stop you!
With me at the moment it’s self doubt. I’m following a program and every time there’s something new, I tell myself I can’t do it. It hasn’t actually stopped me running but the mental battle is tiring. And of course, I nearly always find out it’s not as bad as I thought.
I suppose in freezing weather you can fit something to your shoes? I certainly would draw the line at running when it’s icy. A last resort could be using a treadmill. Well done for continuing in spite of your obstacles!
Be very careful on those icy roads! I injured my IT band running on icy surfaces and it stopped me running for quite a while. Best of luck fitting the runs in.
