Liver transplant vs kidney transplant
I had my liver transplant Sept 22, and though initially recovering well, had a bout of CMV which went on for a long time, and over the last year struggling with poor kidney function, which is currently
running
at about 20%..

Morning all, new C25K graduate here...
Then I have a week away with no
running
opportunities so my quest for 10K starts from July. So I have a bit of time to figure out which plan to use. I really found the 'voices in my head' that C25K gave helpful, do any of the plans provide that?

Tonight I tried
running
with a headlamp. Probably the wrong kind, as in too heavy. The
running
became jogging, and then a fast walk. But before that, something ran across the path ahead of me. A fox or a cat? I couldn't tell.

10K Run
It was planned to be a slow run attempt at 10K and as I'm just one week back to
running
after an extended sinus infection, I wasn't sure I'd have it in me. But at the nice slow and steady pace, it seemed to go very smoothly! And it was great to see more of the canal... 2 more weeks on the plan.

Run the run you can.
I almost decided there was no point
running
because all the ones on the NRC 10k schedule looked too long.

Pride
Coach B said I should be proud of the fact that I'm
running
. 🫣 2. I'm still probably
running
too fast, but I learnt a bit about pacing as for a few hundred metres in the middle he encouraged a slightly faster pace, and then a slightly faster still pace. This was HARD.

Bit frustrated
I think I know I'm probably best not
running
for a few days but I do miss it 😞 Even if tempted I'm in southern Spain and we have a sky full of saharan sand at the moment so air quality is none too good. Who knew I'd miss it quite so much 🤔

Wasn't I lucky!
I'd let the
running
slip a bit over the last few weeks, what with the dreadful weather and having a few knee problems. But yesterday morning was dry, sunny and calm, so I set off on my normal 5 k circuit. All went well and as I arrived back home, I felt a few raindrops.

I’m jolted awake in the early morning
The 2 weeks that followed were consisting of
running
back and forth to hospital, depositing money in her account and paying bills so she didn’t fall behind. I also slept in the hospital room with her because she would become combative when she would wake and not know where she was.

I was put on Amlodopine some months ago for BP which was
running
a little on the high side. The medication works very well and has brought my BP down to normal with no side effects that I can say that I've noticed.
