Holiday run along the Thames
It was a novelty
running
on the flat and my Garmin absolutely loved it. Iβve had my watch for more than 6 months with no movement of my VO2 max headline number, although Iβve seen the finer detail line trending up. Finally it ticked up to the next number.

NRC 10k plan Week 3: (not really a) Struggle Run
After Tuesday's horrible Fartlek I was a bit ambivalent about the idea of
running
but this is when habit takes over. The weather was OK, I was OK, I had a plan, out I went. Due to heavy rain overnight we decided against
running
over the fields so followed the waterfront to the marina instead.

starting again!
hello, I was
running
around 10 miles in my mid fifties following post surgical PE at 50. Covid in 2022 set off severe flare of Ulcerative Colitis (had since 25) and PE. Spent a year recovering started couch to 5k in January having built up fitness walking and cycling.

NRC 10k Plan: 4k Finish Lines (aka β[blank] is why Iβm running todayβ)
Big shout out to all my fellow runners out there just
running
(or resting!), and an especially big hello to all the others doing this plan. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!

What happens if I miss running ?
So I would like to sing: - What happens if I miss
running
once? How will I return? - And what happens if I miss twice, or even 3 times? What if people miss out due to illness, for example? How do they get back then? Thanks for the anwers!

It's raining again....
Got a cap on too, so my face is protected and my new
running
leggings which feel perfect. So all in all a good run, my shoes are no longer pristine! But I kept my feet dry. Just as well I got out when I did, as soon after I returned so did the heavy rain. Happy

Run once a week?
I restarted last month, doing the Week 1 runs at much slower pace than before, and only
running
once a week. So far so good. Is it OK to continue the rest of the programme by only
running
once a week, on a Saturday morning?

First Post - long running Tinnitus that has got a lot worse
Hi - My first post. Over many years I have had on/off ringing (high pitched noise) in my ears which 100% I could rely on disappearing after several days. In the last 6+ months the high pinched noise has practically become a constant to the point it's the first thing I notice when I wake up and it's

Will they consider my BMI if I go private
Which means I'm
running
in a circle. If I go private, is it the same thing with the BMI eligibility? I am on sustainable diet and have a training coach, walk 10k everyday, so I'm trying my best. Will I ever get the treatment?

Running with a 7 month old cocker spaniel
Everyone says, get a dog, and get fit..... it's the other way round for me, I take the dog for long walks, but it's so, so slow and doesn't work off his energy, and I'm actually gaining weight!!! My average resting pulse has increased from 58/59 to 62. And I miss my long fast walks and runs. For

An holistic surprise practice
I'd been gussied up for a run at least two days
running
. Derailed the first day by family need (definitely an appropriate use of my time and skills) Second day I am girding my loins, but also procrastinating looking at new
running
shoes and then my sister wants to come for a run.
