vomited after pred

Sorry for descriptive post. Overnight I have had pain in my lower back (left side) running around the front to my groin. Not sure if this a muscular pain or bowel issue. I took my pred dose and 2 paracetamol with a spoonful of yogurt. One hour later I retched a bought up a small amount of liquid that was flecked white, hard to know if that was just yogurt or my pred. Should I take another does, currently on 5 1/2mg. Thank you 🙏🏼

After an hour you should have broken down and absorbed the pred tablet. I don't think I would take the whole dose again - maybe a couple of mg?

PS - don't think you need sick day rules though unless you end up in bed because you are so unwell.

I’ve had a mild dose of covid and didn’t do sick day rules. I’ll just take an extra 2mgs just in case I didn’t absorb the dose. I am currently in bed but that’s because it’s the only place I can get comfortable.

I think I would. Even if you didn’t lose your dose you aren’t very well and could do sick day rules ( double dose for a week or so).

please be aware that vomiting and pain in abdomen could be a symptom of adrenal insufficiency- it was in my case.
