Hello, and homocysteine
I'm Ruth, 65 and live in the UK. I recently did the Food for the Brain quiz and came out a bit iffy. So I did as they advised and had my homocysteine tested. The level was 9.4 which puts me at some risk of alzheimers according to their scale. I am aware of my memory and attention being less good than

Could Ablation for AF Be an Elaborate Placebo?
I have not been reading or posting lately so I hope another person has not posted this. If they have, sorry. Dr. John Mandrola writes some interesting articles and should you decide to read the entire article, it can be found on this site. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/865209#vp_1 You will

OT Breast health
I have what my ex used to call 'luxury bumpers'. Recently I decided that whatever the woman in Debenhams said, I didn't seem to be a 34F and went off to Bravissimo, where an amazingly young, and very curvy girlie decided I was 32GG. So I bought some lovely new bras, which were really comfy and supportive

Progress?
it is some months since my last post. since then, my fractured hip has almost completely healed itself without any treatment other than enforced bed rest for three weeks a year ago. the fracture was such that i could bear weight on it, albeit painfully, held together by the sticky soft tissue. strange
