Thank you so much to all you dear people for replying and caring so much. The news is good and bad
The bad is that after the meeting on sunday the managers said they had reached the same conclusion as us and that she probably wouldn't 'rally'. They agreed she should be allowed to stay in bed most of the time and certainly not dragged out half dead and taken to meals. They put her to bed on sunday

Menopause or thyroid-that is the question!
I am 56, hypothyroid for 1 year taking 50mcg Levothyroxine reduced from 75mcg as started with panic attacks and fast heart rate. Having spoken to my GP, she said levels were showing normal after blood result-however they were at the top end of the scale. I decided to reduce to 50mcg and immediately

I found that the two didn't mix well also read a few articles re them being not a good combo. I'm now awaiting a natural serotonin supplement to offset the menopausal probs of

Superhero to Zero……but I have a new toy!
All during the 9 week programme I didn’t get any injuries or joint pains other than some piriformis which luckily didn’t stop me running. I didn’t get any colds or bugs, just some aches after a run that would be gone the next day, which I just consider a normal by-product of running. So overall, and

Cimzia arrived today!
Was very excited - but when I opened the first box I started to feel sick with nerves! I have had to come off of Enbrel as it has stopped working for me (was wonderful for 2.5 years), Enbrel is easy as the injector pen does it all for you. Seeing actual injections is freaking me out, still waiting

Just diagnosed APS, Already have MS, Need support and advice please
Hi, I have MS, I was dx when I was 28 - now 37. It is a definite diagnosis. I had what I thought was a killer MS relapse 2 and a half years ago, and have been in a wheelchair ever since. I had a CT scan, told no, not a stroke and home I went packed full IV of steroids. Then, last October - I'm now 37

5 months since diagnosis of Viral Meningitis and still suffering.
I am a mother of three young children (ages 5, 3 and 1) and can not figure out how to get over this illness. I never spent time in the hospital as I was already feeling a little better once I finally got diagnosed two weeks into my symptoms. I caught a random cold last week and although I am on antibiotics

Stumbled on a useful supplement - vitimin B complex with brewers yeast
Hi everybody I'm generally just a lurker, reading everyone else's blogs, but I thought I'd put this out to see if anyone else has used it or has any feedback. I had a long period of illness where I took some antibiotics, and I remembered years ago a pharmacist telling me to take vitimin B complex
