I really don't want to go down the statins road and wondered what this wonderful community thinks about both the link with CLL and how safe/effective is Red Yeast Rice supplementation?

These actions by the FDA are similar to ones taken against NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) and Red Yeast Rice products. For those unfamiliar with the confounding issue related to NAC, it is outlined in the NutraIngredients-USA article linked above.

does anybody take this supplement for cholesterol, if so does it interfere with your RLS. It is free of Monacolin, think that might be important. Thanks

Also I take licorice root two capsules one in the morning one in the evening, red Clover three times a day about 1& 1/4 teaspoons per portion. Are there any tests I should have, anything else I should do?
