Nucleic Acid Therapy
I have been getting more exacerbations lately, and had one last night after I went to bed. This rarely happens after I lie down. I lay there coughing and clearing throat endlessly and then I got an inspiration to go in the kitchen and make a drink of apple cider vinegar and brewer's yeast in water.

Getting nowhere, short story long!
Had knee pain 3 weeks. Seen GP twice, physio once. Took a week off, went back to work last Tuesday. GP said ligament damage, I wasn't convinced. Physio did thorough knee assessment and said arthritis. Knee stiff all the time, swells if I walk on it & hurts. Fingers hurt when I type, got big lump on one

Laryngitis, costochondritis and chest infections.
Has anyone else experienced a higher than normal amount of laryngitis and nflammation of the cartilage that joins your ribs to your breastbone (costochondritis). I Lost 10 Babies In Miscarriages and Stillbirth
I was four when my parents discovered that my genotype is SS. As an adolescent growing up with Sickle Cell Disease, finding a man that would marry me was my greatest worry. I met my husband in 2007 after the completion of my first degree. I confirmed that his genotype is AA before I became committed.

On Emphysema, Vitamins and...
...other stuff. The other day there was discussion of B-17 which, as far as I'm concerned is useless (..and even possibly dangerous..) but I'm no 'authority' so what do I know?? I'm writing today to give just a small amount of input on a couple of vitamins/supplements that I've had direct experience

Well after waiting from October to start ivf round 2 in January we had a few pitfalls... First, my partner was a post Christmas 5lb over the BMI so had to lose it in 5 days or they wouldn't sign us up - the truly marvellous man worked hard, came under target on time and we were back on track... Then

HLA-B27 - what do you know about it?
Hi All, I'm posting on this forum as don't really know where else to post but as HLA-b27 is auto-immune related, the lupus forum seemed most apt and as I have previously posted, I do have a lot of the lupus symptoms :) I've been to my GP today for a follow up on the blood tests done at the beginning

And breathe....
Last injections today plus trigger tonight. It's all happening Monday morning. I'm feeling very tender. A bit sore. Very tired. OH missed two scans this week because he's on bed rest (he's a paraplegic and has gotten an old pressure sore flare up). Ideally he'd be on bed rest for the next couple of weeks

Hi, my name is Geraint, and Married. I was first diagnosed with C.O.P.D in 2008/209 but it quickly changed into Emphysema and more recently Bronchiolitis.
