Explainer: what are blood groups and why do they matter?
With leukaemia, you may need blood transfusions when your bone marrow is no longer working effectively either due to leukaemia crowding your bone marrow or when treatment is temporarily suppressing your bone marrow function. Crises
I have the Trait as well and I believe I go through crises and as I get older it more often. I very anemic and have had to have two blood transfusion recently due to vet low hemoglobin. I just wish they knew more about the Trait and how it affects people.

Follow up on anaemia
I waited a week to see my gp following breathlessness, fainting etc.I went up the stairs to ikea , into the toilet and fainted (arm down the loo). GP said that he had dajavu and that he had referred me to the nhs rheumatologist. When I got upset he said that "Being emotional wouldn't help" That's compassion

I'm new hear and need advice about my fatty liver. My liver area gets in great pain but I've been told the liver is painless by a doctor
I got hepC through a blood transfusion in 1987. I've been a drinker on and off but haven't drank now for six years. I cleared myself of the hep purely by default. I became wheelchair bound three years ago and put on loads of weight and have now been told I have a fatty liver. How do I excercise when

HCV prevalence lower in Iran vs. other Middle Eastern countries
Compared to other Middle Eastern countries, Iran has the lowest #HCV prevalence. Despite the wide range of #infection rates in Iran's provinces, "the strict program of HCV infection screening prior to transfusion, which started in Iran in 1996" may have been the biggest factor for the overall low prevalence

Dad in icu after 3 weeks
Hello. My dad fell off a stair rail from 4 meters. He also has a mechanical valve. He broke two ribs and suffered internal bleeding. He was operated 2 times, the first time to clean up the cavities and cure the chest lesions, the second time because of a blood vessel that broke because of coagulation
