pain management
Hello everyone, I hope everyone's coping OK. I have a question re Pain Management Solutions. Do they ever prescribe painkillers to patients or do they work on an alternative self help programme exclusively ? I've been coping with chronic FM by taking Co-Codamol and Amitryptiline but perhaps it's time

My joint pain is so much worse lately! But the nearest appointment the rheumatologist could give me is July 20th! Co-codamol isn't working! I have a pill review booked in a weeks time for my new anxiety medication but the doctor I'm seeing is kind of harsh so I'm reluctant to ask her for any pain relief

Drugs?
Hi everyone :) I know it's an extremely personal question but I was wondering what medications you take to deal with all the lovely symptoms that EDS brings? Especially the pain? Because I've been on 30/500 co-codamol for 2 years and I still get the drowsy side effects (doesn't really help the fatigue

Recently diagnosed with FM & Osteoarthritis.
Hi all, new to the site. I have recently been diagnosed with FM. Taken 18 months to get an answer from Dr's. Also have Osteoarthritis. I am finding it so so difficult to adjust and accept that the things that I used to do, I can no longer do. My mind still wants to but my body can't. Does anyone know

Letter to GP from Connective Tissue Clinic
I spoke on the phone to my GP about whether he had a report following my 30 March appt. I'll see him to get a copy of the letter but this is what he's told me as "good news". ANA down "a little". Diagnosis is query mild lupus/scleroderma, with definite secondary Raynaud's, plus OA lower spine, hips,

Importance of vitamin K2. It is not only strengthening your bones and teeth, but can kill the bacteria causing dental cavities
Quite interesting article. The power of K2 with other cofactor in dental health has been recognised decades ago. Unfortunately since it has been ditched and K2 has been considered not important. This is what big pharma do not want people to know. Could we simply prevent tooth decay and even fix dental

Floradix
Hi, I have an interactive thyroid and I have been taken thyroxine for year and half. I have now been told that my iron levels are low but not anemic but need to start taking tablets. Does anyone know if floradix is ok to use as I know that you shouldn't take iron tablets with thyroxine as the table absorbs
