Disappointed after laparoscopy for suspected hernia
For the past 1 1/2 years I've had a stabbing pain in the lower left side of my abdomen. When it first started, I would get the pain an hour after waking up, lay down and it would go away. Have had several inguinal nerve blocks to no avail. Pain is now longer in duration. Had a laparoscopy yesterday

Second post
This is my second post. I saw Pain Management Dr (located in North Carolina). My back sacrum area and buns were killing me by the time I drove there. He said he did not understand why I was having back pain as nothing showed on MRI. Told him about feeling urge to defecate when laying down, burning

Pelvic injections
Hi - I have recently been referred to pain clinic in Leicester, after my 4th operation they are reluctant to operate again due to the amount of adhesions I have had. I know the pain I have is due to them as I can feel them tearing but they won't listen and operate again. The pain specialist said he wants

Break from methotrexate
Hi - I know some of you have had to take a break from mtx for various reasons. Any ideas how long you have to be off it before symptoms get worse. My GP phoned me this week when I put in a prescription request and said that according to my blood results from last week, one (don't know which) of my levels

Shingles Shot, ET and Hydroxea
Hi all, you have always helped me out so again I need to ask a question. I was recently diagnosed with ET but surely I have had this for a long while, my GP was concerned until I raised alarm buttons. Long story short went to the Hemo Dr, had BMB and scans and blood work and nothing showed but high

Hypo and Shingles
I had gotten shingles last year. That was shortly after my meds ran out. I don't know if that had anything to do with it. But it's worth being aware right? I really don't know how to use blogs so sorry if this is a wrong way.

Viral meningitis
I apologise in advance for this complicated posting. I am looking for answers, rather than sympathy. After 3 to 4 days of a headache gradually getting worse, my face drooping completely on the right side in the morning of day 4, on day 5 I contacted the GP surgery. The concern was, at age 67, I had

Canadian Practitioners?
Hi All, Nice to see so much info shared here. As I'm located in Western Canada, I'm wondering if any readers could suggest practitioners with interest in the areas of nerve compression and pelvic pain. My family Dr. is wonderful, but after MRI's of the Lumber spine, Lumbar Plexus and a diagnosis of nonsurgical

Shingles and Prednisolone
I have just come back from a tea party where the person I was sitting next to said that she had had shingles 'but was all right now'. It sounded as if it was very slight and hadn't lasted long, although she did say that she had had a rash, but no pustules. Should I really contact the doctor? I am inclined

Hello to all my fellow Cmt sufferers in the UK : Does any 'Health-Unlocked' member have any advice, or experience, on how effective is the REVITIVE Circulation Booster, or an equivalent device ? This device uses, Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) , where small electrical impulses are
