Good morning. Just wondered if anyone can give any interim solutions. Having quite bad lower back pain. The rheum is now looking at Psa instead of Ra. Nurses suggested this in Aug but he is only just doing more tests. Waiting for a MRI and had the hb whatever blood test. I had my 3rd depomedrone in

Pudendal nerve
I could do with some advice, especially from anyone who has PN. I've had this nearly 7 years now, after a clumsy surgeon operating on me for a prolapse but he wouldn't believe me when I said I was in agony after, so because of his refusal it took years to find out what was wrong. I've had nerve blocks

Viral meningitis
Hi My son who is in his mid 50s was first diagnosed with Viral meningitis 10 years ago. Since that time he has had 8-10 relapses and is currently back in hospital. The best help has been with a virologist in the hospital who suggested infusions (aclovir?) through a lead in his arm-3x a day for 10 days

Nerve block
I had 3 nerve blocks injected last Friday and I am now in more pain than before. I have inguinal neuropathy and my groin now feels like there is boiling water flowing through it and I am being intermittently electrocuted!! Oh joy. Lol Roll on more opioid pain killers which my digestive system hates.

Viral meningitis after effects, mis-diagnosis?
Hi, I had vm in 2006 and have had a rollacoster ever since. Occipital pain, sickness, photophobia etc.. I was finally diagnosed with occipital neuralgia and had successful ish nerve blocks. It was decided I would have radio frequency treatment instead as this may last longer and allow me to be meds free

TENS?
Hi folks, Good news from my end - my endo isn't back! Apparently my pain is a combination of dysmenorrhoea and psychosomatic pain related to my fear of my endo being back. I was wondering if anyone here has tried a TENS machine? (I know that my current pain isn't anywhere near as bad as most of you on

Another episode
Ok it has happened again. I moved to a new community, and wanted to get established with a Physician. My headaches and neck / back ache and the burning feeling has returned. Upon meeting the doctor I explained I have Mollaretts meningitis and he said ( what is that). I explained it is reoccurring meningitis

Cauterisation of Bladder Wall.
I saw a new Urologist yesterday who is going to Cystoscope me on Friday and wants to cauterise the lower half of the bladder wall and insert a nerve block (not Botox). Has anyone else had this? Did it work? He said i would have a couple of weeks of discomfort, 3 months on antibiotics to avoid infection

Finally!!
So I have finally had some good news!! After a year of no one knowing what is wrong or what to do, I have finally been given hope! I have to have a nerve block injection into the nerve root of the S1 nerve and around the L5 disc. Has anyone had anything like this before? How effective are they? What

Lymphoedema Service Specification
In 2012 my wife and I were invited to attend a meeting at the Newmarket offices of Anglia Cancer Research, as stakeholders and representatives of people living with lymphoedema for a report with the title: Lymphoedema Service Specification. I have been trying to find out what happened to the report.

Too many specialists- vet pry little help for lower back pain
Hi, I have acute chronic back pain. I've seen an orthopedic surgeon, specialist anaesthetists, physio, pain clinics, osteopath, chiropractor, do daily Pilates, adjusted to what I can manage, and have tried all the meds the doctors have suggested. I still have acute daily pain, haven't been able to work

Third post from Rocky68
Saw pain management Dr 10/30 for sedated bilateral Pudental Nerve Block. I was not put to sleep but sedation helped me to relax and I was able to leave Dr's office so my daughter could drive me home. Shots were not painful. Rested remainder of day and Saturday felt great. Did not drive and was on

Emergency c section leads to life time madness!!
The year 2011. Expecting a full term healthy boy. This is my 3rd child. One day rushed to the hospital with contractions end up staying for 7 days while they try to keep him in. Emergency csection is what this lead to. Still don't have answers why he came so early. Born at 25 weeks 1lb. So sad to see
