Lyme disease-help groups?
Hi, I know there are quite a few folk on here who suffer with Lymes Disease and I was wondering if there is a forum on health unlocked specifically for sufferers or any other online help groups? I'm not asking for myself but for a family member. Thanks in advance Nat x

Wrist denervation - anybody experienced this?
I have osteoarthritis in my left wrist, pain started November 2015 and due for surgery 2/6/17. I am having wrist denervation done to ease the pain, despite the nerve block failing in October 2016. Has anyone experienced this procedure? I'm getting a local anaesthetic to save waiting an extra 4 weeks

Shingles post FCR
I finished FCR about 9 weeks ago and was beginning to feel better and thinking about a return date for work when the dreaded shingles struck. weekly update
hi all, just me checking in with my weekly update. The past couple of days have been very easy - weirdly easy, almost like a calm before the storm. I assume my bad days will become a bit fewer and further between which is good. I am finding throughout the day I have forgot about cigarettes. feels

Falling, Cont'd
I had surgery Monday morning to wire my elbow back together after my fall. For the first 24 hours they used a nerve block because it's such a painful surgery and that was mighty mighty creepy. It felt like I had somebody else's arm and hand attached to me. Warm but no feeling. The worst of the pain fortunately

Hi I have severe pain every month and my pain killers no longer work. Does anyone use other methods to help contol the pain or use alternate medication. At the moment I use my wheat bag and tens machine, when the pain is really bad these dont seem to touch it. Any ideas ?

Fed up 😩
Hi girls. So I'm so frustrated today as my endo has reared its head 10 fold :(. The last few months my pain has been manageable despite removal of all hormone treatments as TTC. This week I found out the reason for this: I'm not ovulating. Bitter pill to swallow as on one hand I was thrilled that

Bad news for the nerve block I just went for and I feel like an idiot. Like I let you all down😔
Hey everyone, Well, my doctor had read the article and my letter to him prior to this nerve block. I must let you all know this is my 13 nerve block and I'm scheduled for another one in 2 more weeks. The good news is that he hasn't used steroids with every injection. The bad news is he didn't use

Mid Back Pain :-(
After running the 13 miles on Saturday I was feeling great and that anything was achievable. I thought that I'd take Sunday off however I was itching to go out and so Sunday night I just ran round the block (approx. 3K) to loosen up. Monday I went out running with my mum who is on week 5 of the C25K

Chicken pox in school again but now using Cimzia- what to do?
Hi peeps- hope you're feeling the weekend? It looks like a sunny day here in the SE of England 😎 I have posted before about chicken pox (or pops as it's usually referred to in my workplace) but that was before Cimzia was added to my arsenal of meds. I was told by my nurse to be very aware of the virus

Will be discussing on Monday with my pain management doc something I found that they are doing on the trigeminal nerve. Please read below
Hey guys. I've been really desperate here. I've now changed my diet to more of a vegetarian diet, no meat. I've been drinking a ton of water and I'm about to start juicing. I've suddenly found out and should have known better myself that the amount of nerve blocks I've received is really not good

Hello friends, it's been a bit since I've posted. I had two nerve blocks done on march14,2017, the radiologist gave me to much medication. I ended up in an ambulance, er, and icu! During this I had an encounter with Jesus ! I thought he was talking me, it was so peaceful, but then he let me know it
