I'm shocked !
I was stunned .I have now found out that painkillers and
pain
patches can affect the blood tests.I have taken more than last year as I had a spinal fracture wish was hard to deal with the
pain
. I'm just wondering if steroids can play any part in this. Presently tapering at 7.5.

Arthritis and P.A
I told him I have
pain
every day and it's bad. I also have
pain
in my hip, elbow and hands. He said to have more blood tests and see the physio tomorrow. I have an appointment booked with a private rheumatologist soon, recommended by a consultant who helped with my P.A.

Could pain under my ribs be endometriosis?
My gallbladder looked small on the ultrasound scan which they thought may be the cause of my
pain
if not working properly or if I may have passed stones but none could be seen.

Advice for pelvic pain please!!
The antibiotics helped the
pain
in my back but not my pelvic
pain
. This got worse quite quickly and I ended up in A&E however again all my test results came back clear. At A&E the
pain
got so severe that I ended up fainting after being given oral morphine.

Side effects?
I know it’s in the patient information leaflet but I was slightly startled when I saw significant bleeding yesterday that was accompanied by agonising
pain
in my pelvic area. I took some painkillers and they didn’t help with the
pain
at all and I lost hours of sleep to the
pain
.

Could this be PMR?
His view as my blood tests were negative was that the
pain
in my leg was related to that and the tingling/burning/
pain
in my neck was also linked to the disc so he recommended more physio.

I was not aware that the
pain
was caused by T4 Levothyroxine, and multiple doctors had recommended painkillers for the
pain
. However, after switching back to T4 medication, I realized that the
pain
was indeed caused by the T4 medication.

Anyone any ideas on what else could be causing this
pain
? Oh, and the only painkiller I can really tolerate is paracetamol. Any suggestions for alternative remedies to quieten down the pains when they get too bad? Thank you in advance.

Could BAT be our last chance?
My husband (on Lupron, castration resistant and tried every treatment) checked into the hospital 10 days ago for intense bone
pain
that requires heavy morphine. He has weakened bone marrow with low platelets and low red blood cells. He's getting palliative radiation for
pain
in a few places.

Mum's battle
A week later, she was hospitalised with unbearable
pain
in her foot and was unable to walk. An MRI scan showed soft tissue damage but I suspected it was all due to, her neck and foot
pain
, hypothyroidism. They tested her TSH in Hospital after I requested a thyroid test.
